Yesterday I was very pleased to receive an HH.357 atomizer (2 Ohm I think..) in the mail from avidvaper.

I immediately ran to my home office to screw it into my ProVari and started dripping Boba's. I started it at 3.9V. This is what I found, all subject to personal preference of-course.

1) 3.9V is what I run my Joyetech attys on, but it was too strong to get the full flavor from the HH.357- Lowering it to 3.6V brought out a ton more flavor. Excellent considering this should greatly extend the life of charge!

2) WOWWIE, the taste is unbelievable! This atty seems to bring out the full flavor in the juice, knocking the socks off others I've tried including Joyetech and Boge.

3) It made Boba's way too sweet for me, the taste change was so significant that I would definitely say using this Atty would not allow Boba's to be an all day vape :(

4) Here's the kicker... until now I couldn't put my nose at all on this wonderful juice. With the HH.357, after about ten minutes of vaping, it came to me... it straight up tasted like a Chinese Almond Cookie.

Since the taste is so pronounced with this atty, I'm anxious to try other flavors- especially MsT and KBV flavors!

Has anyone else tried dripping Boba's on an HH.357? I'm curious to hear your thoughts/impressions!

Sorry, have not tried the HH.357. However, I am trying to learn more about attys for use with my Provari and am interested in the draw. Is it stiff, airy or just right (like a boge carto)? Granted, I think "just right" is the draw form a carto, but since I don't have much atty experience maybe you can enlighten me as to the overall performance. Also, is there a different resistance (like 3.0) I can get that atty with?

It looks like avidvaper.com is down right now, but yes IIRC they do offer it in other resistances.

I haven't had many draw problems with any standard atomizer I've tried on the Provari. Provided you don't overfill it and set the voltage appropriately, it should be fine. The draw on the HH.357 was a little easier (ever so slightly, we're talking...) than the Joyetech that provape.com sells, but I do still prefer the Joyetech attys over the Boge and the HH.357. Atomizers are not like cartomizers or cartridges in that sense- the draw is just right for me. The only exception I've ran into are some hybrids (e.g., the ones made for the Vapage bottom feeder) which are way too airy.

If you prefer a warmer vape, with higher TH and slightly more vaper, you might want to try a LR. I'm comfortable at 2.0 - 2.4 Ohms.

My advice would be to pick up a few different atomizers; no need to start with a $22 HH.357. It all comes down to personal preference- and it's quite extraordinary how much affect one atomizer has on flavor vs. another.

Hey, fast forward from 4.8.12 to today 4.18.12 and I have barely touched a carto. Strange, I was so convinced that attys suck. I still love the convenience of cartos, but I am getting the heralded HH.357. Your post intially put the idea back in my head. I owe you, chriss77 and jplanet a shout out for showing me what is up!
