Hi fellow ECFers,

I recently tried Bobas Bounty for the first time and found out that I unfortunately like it alot. I say unfortunately bc I hate how its 100%VG and extremely thick and I also think AVE juice is very overpriced. No knock on AVE bc they have some great juices, but they are expensive and Im not really a big fan of all their juices being very thick.
I always syringe fill a Ressurector for the first fill on a new carto and then normally just carry around a small bottle and continually keep topping off the carto to keep it full. I dont let it get low bc it takes alot longer to drip fill then and if it does get low on juice I just use a syringe again bc then I dont have to wait for the juice to settle. This works great with thinner juices, and my normal ratios are 80/20, 75/25, or 70/30.
Well Ive found with Bobas Bounty, drip filling is a total pain. Even just to top off is a hassle. Its so thick that it takes forever to absorb. Also the dropper bottles that AVE uses drop really big drops, which partially has to do with the juice being really thick. I fnd that if you dont stick a toothpick into the airhole when you drip fill, its very easy to get juice down the airhole bc the drops are so big and it absorbs into the filler so slow. So lately Ive just been leaving some Bobas in a syringe and keep topping off a Ressurector that way. Its works fine at home, but when Im out I def do not want to carry a loaded syringe with me with a 1.5inch needle on it. Its a pain and is not something I want to be seen in public with. Plus theres the issue of the plunger getting pushed in when its in my pocket and making a mess. I leave some space in so juice wont come out if the plunger does get pushed in alittle and also always leave the cap on the needle so I dont stab my leg, but regardless its a total pain in the ....

So I decided the best thing to do would be to use a carto tank for the Bobas.
I know that thicker juices dont work as well in a tank and dont wick as well either, but I have heard of some people using Bobas in a tank.

So my question to Bobas users is what it the best method to using Bobas successfully in a tank?

Im just trying to get some ideas of what tanks people use with thicker juices that seem to work pretty well.

I use the Ressurectors so if possible Id like an XL tank that will fit the Ressurectors or any DC, etc.

Also Im curious to know what people fnd to work best with punching the cartos. I figured that the cartos that you can buy prepunched wouldnt work very well since the hole is very small. I dont mind punching my own cartos at all and thats what I do now.

I know that I could figure it out and prob get it working pretty well, but Id just like to know what works for other people as well for using thicker juices. Id rather not mess with the juice and thin it out with PGA or distilled water if I dont have to.

So really what I want to know is..
What tanks do you like best? do you punch your cartos or slot them for thick juices? saddle valve, dremel, or something else? Do you punch numerous holes so the thicker juice is fed to the carto alittle better?
Also are there any other tips or tricks you do so Bobas or other thick juices work better in a tank?

Any input is much appreciated!:pervy::pervy::pervy::pervy: This face really makes me laugh by the way

To start off, AVE prices are basically the norm when it comes to juice prices. I know that doesn't put your mind at ease but, you do have to pay a little extra for quality juice.

Anyways, yeah VG does have a tendency to be thick and it takes a little longer for it to soak into the filler material and wick. Carto tanks do help with this problem since it feeds the juice in a fairly consistent manner. There are a few ways in which people prepare their cartos for tanks.

The first method is punching a carto on both sides to allow more juice into your carto. I punch mine using a hammer and a nail. Others use a carto puncher:

COV Carto Punch

The other method would be to make a big slot in them using a dremel. This will allow even more juice into your cartomizer which will deal with how thick VG is.

How to use bobas in a tank

1. Buy tank
2. Buy punched cartos or use a saddle valve to punch them yourself
3. Fill carto/tank with bb
4. Vape away

I still don't get it. My cartos fill fine. I top them off frequently and it takes maybe 30 seconds for the 4-8 drops I put in to absorb. Never had a problem with juice in the center as long as I tilt my cartos and drip on the sides.

Also if this thread came off sounding mean that was not my intention...just confused.
