I'm currently running a Maxi Roughstack V2 at 3.7v. Mainly drip on a 306 lr but on trips I like to fill a Boge 2.0 for convienence.

Went to the mall the other day and tried out (for the first time) one of those Volt style 808 cartomizers. Loved the draw on those and the vapor production. I would love to have maybe try these out with a 510 to 808d adaptor. Even to have a back up solution if I need an emergency carto from the local gas station or something.

I see that Kangor is starting to make a 510 style horizontal carto. Anyone else prefer the horizontal Kangors over the Boge? It seems the Kangors don't make a 2.0 carto? The only specs are in the 2.4 to 2.8 range and I think that may be a cooler vape than I prefer. Any opinions? Thanks.

I've tried the Kanger HC cartos, and disliked them. The vape was too cool and they clogged really fast for me. I used to use Genuine Joye 510 cartos, which are also horizontal coil and @ 2.2 Ohms. I liked them, but they also started clogging really fast. I like the Boge LRs now, because the vape is hotter, and when they start to clog I can drive a paperclip down the center hole to keep them clearer for a while.

One more vote for Boge. The best carto around and I've tried them all. Great vapor production, clean flavor, dependable and consistent. Just make sure you fill them properly, especially the first time--the filler needs to be fully saturated or the carto will burn. I use a needle and a syringe and I believe it makes a difference, but if you are patient, you can just drip from your bottle into the filler. Slowly. And then let the carto sit for at least 1/2 hour. Add a few more drops and vape. top off early and top off often.

The horizontals have all kinds of problems, like dry hits and off flavor, just to name a few. Besides, why would you want to mess with an adapter when you don't have to?

Happy vaping!
