Hi there

I recently purchased some boge 2.0ohm cartos, on first thoughts I felt as if they would get too hot on the lips when vaping and felt they got through juice alot quicker compared to attys and carts...

Now this week I had some juice issues, dont want to get into it, so anyways I retried my cartos and initally had a repeat experience, along with a load of juice on my lips..

I then started a fresh by which I mean, I got a carto, used the condom method to fill it up, this time I removed the white part at the end of the carto and made sure I never overfilled. I noticed as it was refilling the juice go through the cotton and fill up, I then removed the cart from the rubber bung to avoid over filling.

I then left it for a few hours, when I went back to it, it tasted really good and I never got any juice on my lips - so is the good method to refill cartos?

I also noticed my lips would not feel as if they burning and the carto would not get extremely hot if I reduced my draw time, I still got a good TH and taste of flavour - whats the best method to use when drawing on cartos?

Reading inbetween the lines, I have come to understand boge 3.0ohm cartos are better when vaping fruity flavours, as all my juices are fruity flavours I have just purchased some to give them a try - what are you thoughts on this? the sales blurb reads "cooler and better vape for fruity flavours" - do you think this allow me to have longer draws without getting the burning lips feeling?

What I am confused about is the best method to top cartos off for? how long to let them stand after refilling before using them? Your help and advice here as well as to my above questions would be appreciated? any video tutorials would be great, so far all I can find is videos on how best to fill them up.

What type of juice is bested suited to cartos? PG or VG or either?

Also, do cartos have a breaking in period? so after the first couple of refills they find their optimum level until which time they get very hot etc ?

Thanks for all your help and advice

update:

Was seeking video tutorials on you tube on "how to fill up a carto" and "how to refill carto"

I failed to realise up until 2 minutes ago these are actually 2 diff methods, please can you veterans confirm if this true:

- how to fill up a new carto, remove packaging, put juice into rubber bung and then face down so thats the metal side down insert into rubber bung and let it soak up the juice, once complete just wipe it clean

- how to refill carto, remove white bottom bit, put juice on the cotton avoiding centre hole and once all wet replace the white bit again..

- is the above correct way to fill up and refill cartos?

- re: filling new cartos does it matter when you suck up juice the mouth piece end or the threaded metal end?

when refilling / topping up cartos how long should you wait until vaping that carto? is it true the longer you leave it the better? or is like 5 - 10 minutes fine?

thanks for all your help

Other Places
I like both boge standard and 2ohm.

I fill mine by dripping into the top on a 45 degree angle. Both types will take about 20-25 drops. I drip until they look slushy and then stand on battery end for 30 minutes. Top if it needed. Then vape. I haven't had the "in my mouth" juice problem that you've had. Try blowing into the carto with a paper towel on the other end. I think you are getting juice in the airway.

I use all types of juices in these..fruity, tobacco, and desert flavors.

Best suited is a mix of PG/VG for carto's so they wick evenly. If you can lean more towards PG, the better results you will get.

I use a drip tip on mine...just makes it easier to top off the carto's. I top off when the flavor starts to diminish or the first burnt/dry hit that I have.
