I just got my Provari on Friday and ordered 5 boxes of the 510 boge 3 ohm cartos to use with it. I have already thrown out 3 carts out of 2 box's because they got a nasty burnt taste after a few puffs. One was from a SS box and the other 2 were black. I filled them all with Halo juices, Tiki was in the SS that I tossed out and seemed to take forever to get 1ml into it, I only puffed on it about 5 or 6 times at 5.5volts which I thought it could handle being a 3 ohm carto and then it got smoked and burned. I filled another and it was fine and still is fine a day later. I filled one of the black ones with menthol ice and it worked good for a few hours then burned up. I filled the other black one with Cool mist and it burned up instantly when I checked the ohms with the provari. Not having good luck with these carts, are they ....ty? I read many reviews and everyone said they are the best. Im not so sure about that though now. I also have an adapter 510/808 and use the G6 carts on the provari and they have been fine so far.

The 510's all have taken forever to fill though, not sure if its the material in the filling or how they are packed in there but dripping .75-1ml into these things take about 30 min to fill. The 808's absorb the juice's as soon as I drip it in but it just sits on the top of the 510's.

Am I doing something wrong? I test the cartomizer for the ohm with provari, it says 2.9-3.1 on the 510's before I adjust the voltages. I was using 4.5- 5.8volts to test them out but the other 2 that havent burned up yet are starting to taste burnt only after a day of use.

Edited to add this:
I think I may have been using it too hot, not sure but when I use them under 5v they seem to be fine now. Is 5+ volts too high for these cartos?

The carto is full when the filling on top looks slushy. Patience is the main thing when filling cartos. I will let the carto sit for at least 15 minutes after the top looks slushy. Check it to make sure it is still full. I take a few short, light pulls to make sure it is wicking properly. As far as syringe filling, sharp needles are best as you can penetrate the filler easier than a blunt. Gauge will be dependent on the thickness of the juice you are using.

...some thoughts...for me and my VV box, 5v is about max for 3ohm cartos, higher than that and they tend to burn...what ratio PG/VG juice are you using...at 60%VG, I have no problems drip filling a Boge...at 85%VG and up, it will take a week to drip fill and I use a sharp 18ga syringe for them...I vape around 4-5ml daily and have to top up the carto every hour(rSo) with around 15 drops............
