Boge 303B - Any hope?

So, my wife has been bugging me for months to try e-cigs. I finally broke down and went to a shop nearby to try one out. 20 minutes later, I'm walking out with a hundred bucks in gear. Here's the shop: ClearVapors - Home Page

I think what I purchased is a re-branded Boge 303B type. It uses a cartridge refill that clips to an atomizer, with a USB-rechargeable battery. The whole kit came with 2 batteries, an atomizer, a USB and wall charger, 5 pre-filled cartridges, and I bought an extra 20ml of juice.

I've been vaping for about 2 days now, and I'm down to a couple of real cigs a day. I'm just weaning myself off slowly, while using up the rest of my last 2 packs. It's been alright, but I feel like the cartridges don't last all that long. Having two batteries is okay, and tends to make the low battery life less noticable. Oh, and it looks like a real cigarette, which I'm not sure I like.

What I'm most curious about is whether this going to be compatible with anything else. Will I need to re-buy a completely new kit in order to try something like an eGo/510?

No idea. Never heard of Boge 303B. Their 302D is KR808D-1 compatable (the most popular 2-piece)

The picture of a 303B atomizer looks like RN4081. However it could also be the fits-nothing RN4081 look-alike.

Try something RN4081 and see if it fits and works. AZSmokeFree, Njoy Npro (and some 7-11's and Njoy 2-n-1), Smokestik Hendu all sell prefilled RN4081 cartomizers. If RN4081 cartomizers fit then yes there are adapters for 510/Ego to 4081 and 4081 to 510/Ego but not to use the charger. Everything should use its own charging cable.

Yeah and you paid to much if it's RN4081 - they cost $10 from China. Stay away from BS ecig shops.

And if you signed up for a free trial or subscription, cancel it.

It seems to be very similar to the one mentioned here (link). Now, whether or not this is an "official" Boge site, I do not know. The packaging is very similar, but it was customized with this store's name. Also note that the "cartomizers" look eerily like plain old cartridges; this is exactly how mine looked when I bought them, and they were just that: pre-filled cartridges. Also, the site does list it as compatible with a RN4081.

Thankfully, I did not sign up for any free trials or subscriptions or anything. This just seemed to be an e-cig shop that sells things for a lot more than they're worth. It's not particularly easy to tell whether or not you're getting something worthwhile unless you really know your stuff with this, I guess. Oh well, live and learn.

Based on some feedback and recommendations among the posts I've read here, I went online and bought a Riva 510 starter kit with cartomizers and atomizers to test out. This RN4081 clone will do well as an emergency backup or to gift to a friend that needs to quit his PAD habit. Maybe I'll even post a comparison review when I get my shiny new Riva.

Good choice...Riva 510 with cartomizers and atomizers. You will be very happy with that. Get you some good juice and you'll be SET! Good luck.

Don't kick yourself on your first selection. Probably about 75% of the people on this forum now did the same thing you did...before they found ECF. I know I did. You should be much happier with the Riva. Good luck in your vaping journey.
