So we decided to try the Boge 510 cartos as a change of pace from the Joye 510 cartos we had been using on our Joye eGo. I read a bit on the forums here, and thought we'd give them a shot.

I hate them. Of course, it's late and I just had the fiance fill one up for me about 30 minutes ago, and I've been vaping on the Joye's all day, but so far I am not impressed.

Do these things need to sit overnight? I am getting vapor, but my vape seems to be missing something...

And I think their too short... am I being a size queen? lol...
Seriously, These things are only a little bit longer than the cone on my eGo. Did I get use the wrong size?
Not to mention that I swear the cone is creating an air lock, cutting down on the air flow.

I wanted to find us carto that didn't require a syringe to fill, and that we could drip to fill instead. And these things are an utter disappointment.

Are there any non-Joye 510s out there that will allow us to drip fill, and not seriously tick me off?

Ack, I think I need to go to bed. But some sage advice would be welcomed.

If you're using them on the Ego or similar you may have boge cartos that have to high of an ohm rating. I like them for consistency but they do have a cooler vape. I tried the 3.0ohm on the Riva/Ego and it lacked flavor and vapor but the 3.0ohm rocked on my 5.0v pass through or my vv at higher voltage. If you're using the 3.0ohm that's most likely the issue. The 2.0ohm Boge Cartos perform quite well oh the Riva/Ego and similar batts.

No they don't need to let them sit overnight but you do want to make sure the filler is saturated bottom to top so drip it fill if that's the method you're using then wait a few minutes to give it time to soak in and drip it full again.

I would lose the cone. I always hated that thing and never use it on my egos/Rivas. Try some Boge LR 2.0 ohm cartos they are pretty good. Get a 510 drip tip and remove the silicone cap and place DT on carto. Fill carto good on first fill (by slowly dripping around perimeter of wadding with about 25 drips) and then top off through DT every once and a while with about 6 or 7 drops.

Yes, definately try the Boge 2.0 ohm carto. I also use a drip tip with these as suggested when I need a quick refill.

If I've got the time I just pull the drip tip and fill to capacity normally. Being the tight wad I am and not wanting to waste even a drop of my precious eliquid, if you remove the carto for filling instead of blowing through the mouth end to clear it gently blow through the battery end pushing any excess ejuice back into the carto. Try to keep the carto horizontal for the first few vapes to use this slight excess and then you are good to go.

Thank you all for the advice! I was in quite a "mood" last night, so I apologize for my crabbiness. I will give a try on some of the other ones suggested here.

Oh BTW @silentt: We placed an order this weekend to T Atomizers and tanks at FSUSA because they had a nice sale going on, so we'll be testing those next.

I'm checking out stuff for my parents as well, who don't want to play with syringes to fill the Joye 510s. So all advice is welcome and appreciated.

Thanks again, guys!

I've never used a syringe to fill my Joye 510 cartos. I've always dripped drops into the carto through the battery end threads and it works easily and efficiently without any mess. A quick wipeoff of the thread end with a kleenex or papertowel before attaching to my battery and I'm ready to vape although I do prefer to let the carto set for a few minutes before vaping if at all possible. It's the only method I've used for 4 months now.
