Lately I've been thinking of switching to cartomizers. I'm just getting tired of the constant fiddling I seem to have to do to get cartridges to wick well consistantly. I hate dripping because I'm a chain vaper, and it's just to much of a pain to be dripping every few minutes. I like to be able to just sit and vape two or three times a minute for hours at a time.
My primary device is a Super T Precise 16340. I mostly use LR BE112 atty's on it (with the 510 to 801 adapter that came with it), I just love the flavor and vapor with those big atty's. But I do also use LR 510 atty's at times. Some flavors are betterwith one, some with the other.
How do the Boge LR 510 Cartomizers compair with these two atomizers?

Sounds like me and how I love my Iken Mini 2ohm and HV-801's,,, sounds like a nice bottom feeder like a VV Ali'i or a Reo Grand would be best for ya the way you like to vape, just my $0.02c but I run one of each and I dont worry about carts, dripping or any of that nonsense anymore, just squeeze and push the button and vape vape vape, also the new Eclipse would fit the bill to, in the long run it will be cheaper then spending all the money on cartos too.!

You didn't specify which juices you prefer, which to me makes a big difference. I only vape tobacco or spice flavors in cartos because I generally don't care for the way other flavors taste out of them. Thin juices work better, both for filling and vaping, and I don't have any leaking or juice-in-the-mouth problems (I use a drip tip).

Just now I'm trying my first Boge 2.5 ohm carto with Best Ecig Flue Cured. I got tired of dripping an LR 901 atty on my BB (3.7v) and decided to give this a try. Taste is okay, after a dozen or so break-in hits. Vapor production is fair, about like a standard 510 with new atty.

I usually run the Boge 3.0 ohm at close to 5v on my Buzz. Variable voltage is great for cartos because their performance changes more quickly than that of an atty, so the ability to bump up the voltage produces more vapor and a longer usable life.

I usually drip on LR 306's or LR510 and on standard 510's @ 4.9V. When I can not drip I resort to the Boge LR 2.0ohm or 1.8 ohm cartos. I have tried many cartos and these are by far my favorires. Yes the flavor is not the same as with my favorite attys but these cartos do get the job done and they hold a fair amount of juice. They also last for about two weeks or so.

I was trying to look up the price for the Eclipse and I could not find one. From what I understand they will be coming to market in Feb. Do you have a price that they will be?

I get all my juices from DIY Flavor Shack these days. The four flavors I vape the most are, Fried Spiced Apple, Juicy Peach, Chocolate Mint, and Sweet Coffe with Irish Cream.

+1 on getting a good bottom feeder. I've never tried the Ali'i or Eclipse, but have heard good things about them. I have tried a Kaji Journeyman and it was a decent little 3rd gen mod. I'm currently in love with the Reo Grand: 'Merican made, solid and dependable 510 native mod that can also use 901's and 808s with a simple included adapter. 6ml bottle and 18650 battery can get you through an entire day without having to tote anything else.

Excellent info here:

Looks like Isaac is serious about quality, so I aim to try his cartos next.
Welcome to IkenVape

Isaac is a fiend for vaping quality. His cartomizers are excellent but imo it is his atomizers that are out of this world.
I was a die hard cartomizer user until I tried an Ikenvape HV 306 and it instantly turned me into a dripper for life. The vapor and flavor far outweigh the small hassle that is dripping.

Max, where did you find 2.5Ω Boge cartos? I only know of 3.0Ω and 2.0Ω ones.

It appears that my memory is not so great; went back to Mad Vapes for a look and these cartos are actually made by Bauway.
Refillable 510 Cartomizers 2.5 ohm

I can't recommend them based on the one I tried. After a half hour or so it started getting a burnt taste, and refilling didn't help it.

I know, I tried them too because I like that resistance on my eGos. They all fried, eventually.

If you like 2.5-2.7Ω cartos, try Ikenvape's Platinums. I only had a couple of them (you can buy individual cartos from him) and I liked them a lot. They look and behave like Boges. Isaac likes to tweak his cartos...

They are on sale now for a buck a piece.
