I've got a bunch of Boge 801 soft caps that I'm having a lot of issues with. At first I thought they were the bees knees, the first bunch I tried were great.

Lately I've been getting a very strong chemical taste (not really sure how else to describe it) out of some of them. I swear the taste is so strong that it actually gives me a headache. I'll fill, wait 30 minutes, take a drag, and instantly know if it's a bad one. Sometimes I'll get 5 bad ones in a row before I find a good one. I'm wasting juice and a bunch of time trying to find a good one. Heaven forbid I try to fill more than one...

Is there a trick to these? Maybe open the wrapper and let them sit for a while before I try to fill them?

I take the soft cap off, drip 25-30 drops in without getting it in the center tube, let it sit for 30 minutes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Can't really use the condom method on these cus of the connector,

Help me out here. What am I doing wrong?

Honestly, your not doing anything wrong with the cartos your using. Sometimes there are QC issues with cartos and atties for that matter. So, there is a possibility that you have gotten some packs of duds. Which vendor did you get these from? They might have a warranty on them. I know that all cartos from CCV do and you can send them back to be replaced if anything is wrong with them.

Are you using the same flavors/juices in them that you have been using this whole time? Sometimes freshly made juices have a chemical flavor to them. Which steeping them for a little bit will help tremendously.

I just realized I posted this in the completely wrong forum.

Anyway, I have an update. I emailed litecig about this problem last night, and had two email responses from them this morning when I woke up. The first one was "there is no warranty, but this shouldn't be happening. I will email a replacement pack today or tomorrow at the latest" and the second one was "replacement shipped".

That's 10 boxes of 5 each... not an especially cheap replacement, but they didn't even bat an eye to make sure a customer is happy.

I've dealt with 5 or 6 different vendors that are ECF participants, and it's been this way across the board. LiteCig has now made themselves a customer for as long as I continue vaping. If only all business worked this way... the world would really be a better place.
