I just received the 3.5ml Boge F17 carto tank. It was only $5.99 from Sure Vapes. I love this thing. Stainless at both ends and , of course, comes with carto and drip tip. Thanks to ECF and You Tube I had it going in less than 5 min. I had been staying away from tanks because of the lack of TH. This is because I only tried wicked tanks before. There is no lack of TH with this tank. I can't believe what I have been missing with these carto tanks.
I do have one question. I don't have or plan to have any special tools. Is there a way to save the juice or not make a mess when changing flavors or cartos? I really hate to waste e-liquid. Any help is appreciated.

I have several blog articles pertaining mostly to cartomizers and cartotanks. Ocelot video taped herself exchanging an old carto for a new one without removing the liquid in the tank. It is in my cartotank setup guide. I really recommend that you get a tank accessory tube to save your tank's o-rings; there's a video of that at the end of the same blog article. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/

When you find it necessary to remove leftover juice from a tank to change flavors, I found some small plastic cups to empty the juice into from the tank. They are the same size as the medicine measuring cups that come with cough syrup, antibiotics, Pepto Bismo, etc. You should have some empty juice containers by now, maybe some with a dropper or you can use a syringe to put that juice into the empty bottle.

The Boge F17's have become my favorite tanks! I'm obsessive compulsive so I've got a bunch of tanks for all my different flavors (there are many). I hate wasting anything, so I agree with Uncle Willie. Just Vape most of the liquid. Shouldn't be too messy and not too much liquid should go to waste. If you wanted to clean out the cartos, I did notice on the My Freedom Smokes website that they have a kit to clean them. There's a piece that screws onto the carto and you flush it out with water. I've been vaping for a couple of months now and haven't had to switch out any cartos yet. I think it's because I have so many tanks and I'm constantly rotating them. :)

F17, with the original cartomiser lasted almost a week. I went through at least 15ml with it. I put a new F16 replacement cartomiser in it and cleaned the old one. Sure, it doesn't lock in place or have a fill hole, and it's polycarbonate, which means it doesn't like citrus, cinnamon, etc. For $6, I don't really care. It looks very nice on an ego, doesn't leak so far, and I continue to treat it with care. I didn't swap cartomisers until the tank was empty for the 5th or 6th time, but if you need to save your juice when changing cartos, get a slap yo' mama tool or a DCT refilling drip tip. There is also the ocelot method, look it up on ECF. I use my DCT refilling tip for refilling and inserting the clean cartomiser, but haven't had to keep any juice yet. I'm sure it's all the same.

I just got my 3 pack of these(along with a 5pk of F17 single coil carts) in the mail today. Ive only been vaping for 2 weeks with a 3.7v/1.8-2.0 cartos, and even though it has been keeping me off analogs, I have wanted a bit more "oompf" from my device. These tanks did the trick. Super easy, Slim/clean design, good flavor and great vapor production. I see myself running these on the top of any battery I use from here on out. I fell back in love with vaping today!
