Ordered Lavatube, and some DCT 510 tanks. Figured out now after ordering that DCT is not good with Lavatube cause of the low ohm (1,5-2.0) Even though the Lavatube is version 2.0.

I have some Boge XXL cartoz, and wondering if they fit, and can be used with the DCT tank instead of the dual coils?
If so, are they easy to puncture? how many holes?

What do you guys prefer using on Lavatube?

Thanks!

XXL is the size you want for DCT's. For use with a Lavatube, get 3 ohm Boge's or as close as you can get to that. Whatever you do, don't get the dual coils.

They are relatively easy to punch. The best way is to use a dedicated punch tool available from some of the E-Gic suppliers. Some here use a common saddle valve punch that is really designed for plumbing purposes. Reports of using it satisfactorily are mixed.

Another option that has been completely successful for me is slotting- A PBusardo Tutorial - How I slot my cartos!.wmv - YouTube

Carto's also need to be primed for use in a DCT. There are a lot of tried and true methods for this. I think this one is really clever as it also starts the tank - DCT Dual Coil Tank first time filling - YouTube

Best wishes-

Smok makes punched 2.5Ω dual coils.

Tank Replacement Dual Coil Cartomizers, 2.5 Ohms, Double Hole

I have no LT experience, but I use Boge LR (claimed 2Ω, but usually meter about ~2.2Ω) cartos at ~4.4V on my PT. That's about 2 amps which should be fine for an LT.

I thought the posted vid was silly, just fill your carto normally by dripping into the top till the filler is saturated, then install it in the tank and fill the tank. And if in the course of vaping if it starts hitting a bit light don't be afraid to drip a few drops into the drip tip.

Thanks! Those are exactly what i have. Boge xxl 2.7-3.1 ohm. They are black, not stainless as i seen most use for tanks. Does it matter??

To punch them seems for me a lot of stress. . Saddle valve seems to be the least stress. Just hope i can find one in Norway:)

When it comes to filling the carto, i will just try to top it after the tube is filled, and let it rest for a bit.

I have also in same order vivi nova tank, with 3 different ohms. I guess the 2.8 ohm are the one to suit LT best?

Hmmm... stickers :( A PAIN to get off! But you don't want them in a tank. I got some of the xxl boges from ccv and love them. they fit great in the cheap dctanks. :) They're easy to punch with just a hammer and a sharp screw. I condom fill mine before putting them in a tank.. then assemble them in the tank and push down the bottom into the tank, fill with a syringe, pop it back together and vape. :)

If you cant find a saddle valve, a block of wood and a deck screw shouldn't be hard to find...

Stickers? What do you mean? Are black boges different than stainless somehow?

Bought mine at Healthcabin, but no stock in stainless 3 ohm. .

The black cartos are just a stainless carto with a black sticker wrapped around it. The sticker will not bode well with a tank. It is a bit of a pain to peel off. A little rubbing alcohol will take the remaining glue off.
