Bonuts (?) for bridgeless 510 atomizers

I have several bridgeless 510 atomizers I love for tasting flavors. I have been reading about bonuts, taking pipe screen mesh and rolling it and putting it around the bridge in a bridged atomizer. Would this work with a bridgeless atomizer to help it hold more juice? I know about rebuildable dripping atomizers, I have a simple one I have not "played" with yet, but wondering if the bonut idea would work for them? If so, what screen would you suggest? SS pipe screens? would screen mesh used for wicking work?

I may be making this too complicated, but any info greatly appreciated.

Yes the Bonuts work great on bridgeless, just be careful the bonut does not short the coil. Standard 1/2" SS pipe screens rolled and bent into a round shape.
