Boo to you Protank...help please

So I got my protank a few weeks ago and I am so tired of the airy draws (unless I block one of the slots. Now it started to leak at the seam between the mouth piece and the glass tube. I bought this tank because I love my cinnamon juice and don't want to destroy my poly tanks.

Any suggestions? Possible SS tanks or other glass/pyrex tanks?

That's a defect. Even if you're not thrilled with the tank, I'd still try to exchange it for one that isn't broken.

I'm pretty sure you're right but just very fed up with the protank draw etc..

You can use EVOD heads in the Protank to reduce the draw.

If the airy draw is the problem use an Evod atty head (with the smaller evod center pole attachment) in the Pro Tank.

If its tightened down well the KPT should not be leaking.

Fair enough. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with any other glass/pyrex tanks. So, I can't really help you there. I'm sure someone will chime in with some recommendations though.

The leaking from the seal between glass and top, was a flaw in the first batch of Protanks, according to what I've read, so I'm guessing you were unlucky and got one of those. Contact the vendor and see if you can get a replacement...

I found the protank somewhat airy myself. What I did was pulled the stem and laid in two strands from a 2 mm wick and then replaced the stem. That stiffened up the draw a little, stopped the leaking from flooding going down onto my mod and stopped the gurgling I was getting. Now the Protank is vaping tons and no leakage or flooding. This needs to be just small strands as not to choke off the wicking effect. So far this is working wonderfully for me.

^^^^^ This works I've tried many ways that were just plain hokey, but this ^^^^^ works perfectly and is no fuss.

+1 contact the vendor you bought it from. Most reputable places will replace your tank. Good luck.

After finally getting use to the airy draw of RBA's I've found that if you just slow down and enjoy the vape it helps a lot with the Protank.

I have a "Leaker" that I chose not to replace since it was my first and I had already named it, "Leaky." I just keep it wrapped with "Scotch tape" and replace it once in a while, the cinnamon I'm vaping doesn't seem to bother it and the tape is invisible until you get real close.... and no ones getting that close to MY VAPE.

Get an exchange if you can, but using an eVod atty and taping the tank will keep you vaping....
