Boogers

I didn't know if I should even post this. But, wondered if anyone else has experienced it.

Maybe it's a seasonal thing. I'm not a person with a history of allergies. But, for weeks now I've had to clear my nostrils quite frequently. No post nasal congestion, no cold symptoms ... just nasal passages plugged by dryish boogers. Not something I normally have a problem with. Maybe it has something to do with the dehydration which has been discussed on the forum? Anyone else? If it's just me, allow this post to sink into oblivion quickly, LOL

EDIT: Obviously, I'm wondering if this is related somehow to vaping, or I wouldn't have posted it. I figured that should've gone without saying, but ya never know, haha. So, maybe this is the wrong place to post it?

I have too, way out of the ordinary. But I do have allergies (to what, who knows) and sinus problems...so I figured it was just that. Hrmmm. I DO drink plenty of liquids. Never without one.

Could be humidity of the air - I notice in hot weather I don't get as many boogers.

I got loadsa bogies since vaping! I have to blow out my snout quite often now!

I haven't noticed much of a difference in quantity, but they are not black/brown anymore!

Are you vaping vg? When I first started vaping I used vg and it was like nasal congestion ALL the time and "plastic" boogers8-o

Thanks! I see I'm far from alone. Didn't realize this had been discussed a couple months before I entered the scene. Water, water, water. Hey, I actually like water. I think I'll pass on the Neti Pot though, at least for now.

Are you vaping vg? When I first started vaping I used vg and it was like nasal congestion ALL the time and "plastic" boogers8-o

Mostly PG/VG blends heavy on the PG ... not my choice, just what's readily available in greatest variety. But, I'd read that PG is more dehydrating than VG is.

So, the general consensus is that what I described in post #1 is probably the result of dehydration of the nasal passages, and I am by no means alone in the experience. I'm glad to say it hasn't lead to nose bleeds, yet. I've never been prone to them either.
