E-cigarettes will soon be a Billion-dollar industry. The sales now appears to be increasing faster than anyone can track. The market is so wide open the MLMers (Multi-Level Marketers) are moving the product.

New websites offering E-cigarettes and those linking to commercial websites seem to be popping up everyday. E-cigarettes are now available in many smoke shops, convenient stores, and in malls.

I just Googled: “Electronic Cigarettes” Christmas present. Results: 28,800. I bet that number will look small by this time next month.

I doubt there's way to track the numbers of smokers who are switching to E-cigs every day or week or month. What ever that number is...It should double soon.

The E-cigarette boom should have a proportional impact on the ECF, driving the membership higher.

It would be interesting to compare the number of members 2 years ago with 1 year ago, 6 months ago, and today.

Just this evening, I opened an email invitation from the ACS CAN to take a survey online. Its many questions essentially boiled down to how much I supported their goal of raising money. I waded through the questions, hoping that somewhere there would be an opportunity for me to vocalize my views in writing. It finally came, at the end of the survey. At which point I essentially said I could not support the ACS so long as they opposed the "electronic cigarette". While vaping may be gaining new users, and clearly helping a lot of people to kick the cancer sticks, there's a lot of big money opposition. And, 'not for profit' groups like the ACS will blindly continue to oppose the technology so long as the FDA does so. As Clevername, in post #7, said ... they would rather that we go back to smoking cigarettes. It's madness.

WomanOfHeart: I'll admit that the thought has crossed my mind to see what I'd need to do to start my own juice business.

There is more than 1 reason I chose to join the ECF. The collective knowledge of the membership is Awesome! If "They" try the Over Tax game...Members will pop-up immediately with "The Formula" including where to shop.
