I know this sounds pretty crazy, but could anyone borrow a PV that uses 18650 batteries for 1 month? I am a college student and left my PV in my car at my house, which is far away from my school and I won't be able to visit for about 2 months, even though I took everything else with me (drip tip, liquid, atomizers, 2x batteries, and cartomizers). I have no way of getting anyone to send my SB to me because I took my keys with me just in case. I really don't want to start smoking again so I would be very grateful to anyone who would lend a PV. I will pay a deposit if necessary. Thank you for your time.

I just mailed my rough stacks back to madvapes for an upgrade, so I'm short 18650 tube mods for a week or so... but I do have a suggestion.

If you haven't found the classifieds or the PIF section of the forum yet, you should check them out. There was an 18650 e-power in the classifieds today for thirty bucks shipped... there are often really good deals to be found.

Thanks for the advice. However, I looked it up and it was sold... Oh well

You could post WTB (want to buy) in the classifieds. - You might also consider grabbing a cheap box mod somewhere to get you by for a while. Madvapes has 3.7v box mods on sale for 19 bucks right now. Your 18650 charger should be capable of charging 14500s and those are less than 5 bucks each - A cheap box mod and a couple of 14500s plus shipping is also going to be about 30 bucks.

Sorry, favor, in advance for just not being helpful. I can't help you out anyway. BUT...this needs to be asked. You took your car keys with you for what reason, just in case? Just in case someone needed to move your car, or get into it, it's a good idea to make it as difficult as possible? LOL. Now, sorry for being a smart .... It's my nature sometimes. :)

My bad for not explaining. I have a younger brother at home and I don't want him driving it :) I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Lesson for the day, is to give your keys to your parents. You never know if there's going to be an emergency where they will need access to the vehicle. They don't have to give them to your younger brother. I'm not saying with my comment that you had no reason at all for keeping them. I'm just saying that they do no good with you. They should be paired with the car.

Although I do 100% trust my parents, I would say he is crafty enough to find them, not that my parents don't discipline, but he's like a mirror-image of me and know what he's capable of at that age lol. And I remember not being so "reasonable" at that age either, so since it was 2 months I figured the keys would be better off with me. I know this sounds awkward but you would understand in my case :)

I'm somebody's little brother too and I know my older siblings would have felt just that way about me and done the exact thing - with good reason. Heck, even though we're all middle aged and have kids of our own, I bet my siblings still feel the same way ;) I've never given any of them a reason to think that my propensity for mischief has diminished due to age.

In another life, when I was 16 y.o. My sisters boyfriend locked and left his car parked in the street in front of our house while they double dated with another couple. Not wanting to let a perfectly good time go to waste, myself and a couple buddies, slim jimmed the door lock and hot wired the car. We replaced the gas, and got the car back 10 minutes before the double daters returned from their date. He's still trying to figure out why the engine hood was warm. When I look back on some the the things I've done in my life I wonder what the heck I was thinking about. JMHO

Cheers,

If anything, check local gas stations for a cheap kit to tie you over until you can get your PV.

In Illinois, they're trying to ban these so-called "E-Cigarettes" on the grounds that they don't know what's in the liquid. It's obvious that the Tobacco companies are behind it and judging from the corruption intrinsic with Chicago and Illinois politics (it's called Windy City because of the politics), they will probably have half the bureaucracy rallying behind them :|

As you can see, I'm from Illinois too. I didn't hear of this. As Cartman says, they can suck my balls. It's an outrage.

It's like when you turn 18 you finally start thinking about the legal consequences lol
