I don't like the "nubs" on the bottom cap of the lavatube. I have a Buzz Pro, and I had taken some small blocks of wood and drilled holes just the right size to set it in. Keeps it from falling over easily. Those don't work with the lavatube due to the nubs.
So this sounded like a good idea. But when I screwed the Buzz Pro endcap onto the lavaPro, it lit up, and seemed to be working, just long enough for me to set the voltage. And then it quit. I tried this 3 times, same result every time. Went back to the lavatube endcap, and it worked fine.
I don't know why the buzz pro endcap doesn't work. It feels like it fits, though the spring is pretty tight and has to compress a lot. Initiallly, the lavatube's LED's light up like it's working. But it doesn't work for me.
I'm tempted to try filing the nubs off the lavatube endcap, but since I don't have another endcap and don't know where I could get one, if something went wrong, it would leave the lavatube useless.
