Where the coils are... relative to the juice level, the user's mouth and how they are filled.

BC clearos do not require the occasional "tip" onto their sides to ensure there's juice on the wick. Although I've not used clearos in a long time, even long wicked TC clearos, like the iClear 30... unless I've re-wicked them with cotton or my own silica, I personally don't trust their capillary action qualities below half full - and will tip them to the side.
It sounds like some sort of unreasonable requirement... "Tipping? That is just such exhausting work!" - but in reality, more often than not, the tipping action is as automatic as blinking.

All else equal, clearos and glassos with TC tend to have a slightly warmer vape... simply, the heat source is closer to the mouth. Some feel that the flavor is better... perhaps because the vapor doesn't need to travel up a tube (a short trip though it is) to reach the mouth.

Filling from the top or bottom used to be more a separation... with BC clearos (of the Kanger style) mostly filling from the bottom, and TC's filling (not always here either) from the top. If this feature is important, read the fine print.

Ah thank you for the detailed explanation. I know a buddy who has had a lot of problems out of his bottom feed but I've found there's pros and cons of everything.nothing will be perfect
Often, it's personal preference. Subjective stuff that's hard to quantify. To argue for or against something based on the flavor... is a short road to nowhere. ;-)

I have two "wick-less" top coils and two bottom coils. I prefer the bottom coils because when the top coils I have start getting about 1/4 full you have to work the juice around or you'll get bad hits. I'm not sure on flavors. The top coils I have are the same, CE 5's I believe, that give good flavor until they get low. The bottom coils I have are a Protank Mini which gives great flavors to the last drop, and a really cheap clearo that, while it doesn't give great flavor, just acceptable flavor, it maintains it's flavor level from start to finish. So for that reason alone in the future I'll be leaning towards bottom coils, maybe.

I have both but use the bottom coilers almost exclusively now (the top coilers have some juice that I don't vape as often). I find the bottom coilers have better taste. May be because they are "cooler" due to the coil being further away from my mouth. May be purely psychological.

I recently starting using a Kanger Aero and really enjoy the dual head; more flavor and more hit.
