thanks for the replies I have tried a kanger t3 and the evod bcc and they don't seem to work or don't connect properly is this a common issue

I think it is a common issue. I've had to pry the pin on my MVP up just a tad (Use a tiny screwdriver or dull knife, and don't pull it up more than a hair or two). My Protank used to love to push that thing down.

Apparently so it is. Here is what I found at myvaporstore(a click and paste) Here is the description on their website
Kanger T3 eGo Bottom Coil Clearomizer

This Clearomizer is designed to fasten onto the outer cone threads of an Ego battery. It is NOT 510 threaded.

This Clearomizer is compatible with Ego series batteries such as the Joye Ego-Tank, Joye Ego-C, Joye Ego-C Twist and Vision Spinner battery.

To use with a 510 threaded MOD like the Zmax (seen in image below), iTaste SVD, Smoktech SID, Joye eVic etc... you will need a 510 to Ego Adapter. Even if your MOD has Ego threads, they may or may not be deep enough to make contact. We strongly suggest purchasing the adapter if you intend to use this Clearomizer with a MOD.

:)

Those are eGo threaded, not 510 threaded.

My friend Ocelot made this beautiful graphic to help illustrate the mystery of the eGo vs 510 connection,

Ego class batteries can handle both 510 and eGo-threaded heads. However, the 510 threaded devices require a 510>eGo adapter if you want to use eGo-threaded toppers on them.

Sofar ive tried

iClear30....not bad but a tight draw. Nice amount of vapor but its a juice hog.
iClear16..was not impressed even with a iClear30 coil. Very tight draw and lots of burnt flavor if you vape too fast.
Kanger T3S...not bad for the price and IMO a really nice draw. Some flavors like mints seem a bit muted
Kanger Pro Tank-II...its really hard to NOT like this tank. It seemed a bit too easy at first but now it works awesome again.
Kanger Mini Pro Tank-II...easy draw and good flavor
Kamry X8 carto tank but using a 45mm long carto. Interesting flavor and near perfect draw.
Jomo Mini Pro Tank...Really tight draw and needs a different "beauty ring" for a clean look.

Its a toss up for me on my MVP V1. I really like the Kanger T3S for the sweeter flavors and my Pro Tank-II for the Menthols and Icy Mints. Both go with me when im away from home for the day. The PT-II was a bit problematic after about a week. Its worked great since i gave it a good cleaning and a new coil.
