Well I am going to be (soon) the proud new owner of a Joyetch eGo-T. I also purchased myself some Mango and Orange (50/50, 0mg nicotine) from Vapors Choice. What does everyone think of Vapors Choice's e-liquid?

Just wanted to congrat you on your soon new joyetech eGo-T, it's a great choice & I've purchased many of them. I've never tried any of the flavors from Vapers Choice but I hope you enjoy! :)

What e liquid brands/e liquid flavors have you tried moishesmom?

Waaay to many to name, tho I do have a few that are mainstays. I've actually been doing a lot of DIY & getting some pretty good vapes. It's also a lot less money. What type of flavors are you seeking? I see that you purchased 'fruit', is that what you enjoy? Also, have you just begun vaping & if you have, congrats on that too!

Totally Wicked's RY4 tastes biscuity to me although that's rather scrummy... I'm both really difficult to please and really easy! Fruit flavours work for me about 10 minutes and then I start to get a headache, tobacco can be too tobacco-y... HS Storm was beautifully nutty and the Marlboro I tried last year tasted like nutty chocolate... I think I should dye my hair blonde and call myself Goldilocks!

My 'just right' all day vape would be Virginia from from VapeEscape but they don't do it in the right strength for me. Hopefully, once I drop down to 8mg I can use all the juice I bought just after Xmas! Until then, I'm DIYing my own blend of Virginia and Honey. I find DIY'd Virginia on its own lacks the honey I can taste in the VapeEscape juice although I'm never going to get it as perfect. It's nice though!x

Now, I understand the eGo-t uses a wick that goes into the atty? Is there any that don't use that method? I'm sorry if that is a dumb question!

The 'wick', if I'm understanding you right, is in the atty. The ego-t is the battery & you can use almost anything that has an ego connection. I stand to be corrected by anyone.......You can use clearos, carto/tank, etc..........

Not all attys(delivery devices) have wicks. Cartos have polyfill, standard atomizers have a mesh bridge(or you can get bridgeless ones like i do for dripping), cleromizers have wicks, many others do and dont. Im not too familiar with the ego t. I bought a first gen one 2 years ago and tossed it in less than a week. I remember i hardly got any vapor, little to no throat hit, and flavors were so dull you didnt hardly notice you were vaping at all. Like i said, that was a first gen, i know they made changes and alot of people swear by em. For me i just never bothered to go back to em. I'll just stick with dripping and carto tanks for being out of the house.

So I had a little surprise waiting for me when I came home from Chicago today... My eGo-T!!! With my mango and orange liquid... So far I love it waaaaaay more than Blu. But the Mango is delicious (I'm going to wait to try the orange).

Now my question is, the atomizer. From what I understand the atomizer is all one unit, can't just replace the head (like the eGo-C). Is there any mods that I can get that will allow me to do such a thing?

Glad you're liking it - not much of a comparison to the Blu is there? My 1st was a Blu also.

Now, if I get what your using, the atty on either the of those batts (c or t) takes a tank in it, right? (little plastic gidgee that you fill & place into the atty)?

That is correct, I have the battery, then the atomizer (which you can't replace the head, you have the replace the whole unit... And at $30 for 5 that is pricey), and then the tank that comes into the atty.

And blu is crap compared... Blu is simple quick and effective though, I must say that.

You can use anything on your batt. I gave up on the atty w/tank in it a long time ago. Your 't' or 'c' can take a carto/tank, carto, clearo as long as they come with the same threading. My go-to is the tank/clearo; much, much easier & longer lasting then the attys, which were just getting to costly, even tho I cleaned & reused them (without great success most of the time). You might want to try that kind of a topper - they work very good on your batts.

I also have an eGo-T. It's my first and only--I'm a new vaper. Now, I know I have no basis for comparison, but I'm loving my eGo and I have to admit I'm a little daunted by the wick system and how complex all the other types of systems look. So for me, right now, the all-in, or "closed', system is ideal.

However. I have not cleaned my unit at all yet and don't know how tricky that will be. I also don't know how long my atomizers will last (I have the two that came with my starter kit and am expecting another in the mail). Can anyone shed any light on that? I suppose I should also look more in the dedicated eGo area of the forum. I want to find a really good guide to care and maintenance. I am leaving on a 17-day trip to South America on Friday and I'm worried I will have technical difficulties en route. That would be tragic!

Also wanted to add, re favors, that I stumbled across the vendor myfreedomsmokes.com and have gotten all my juices from them so far. Inspired by really enthusiastic reviews, I bought a flavor called Peppermint Bark even though I don't even like peppermint in "real life," so to speak. It has turned out to be my go-to flavor so far. I'm sort of addicted to it (there is sort of a creamy, only slightly minty chocolate flavor in there). So It seems to me, too, that flavor preferences might not always match up with the favors of things you like to eat. I thought I would love caramel because I do in candy, but I haven't found that to be a good vaping flavor for me at all.

Hi Messalina....Congrats on your new venture. There are several very good videos on you tube for cleaning your attys. As I stated earlier, I kept going with attys for quite awhile - afraid actually that I didn't know how to go about all the various devices. There are no B&M's around my area & not a soul I could talk to soooooo ECF became my guide.

As far as your going to S. America, I would take a ton of everything with me unless you know you can buy what you need there. I don't know about the power supply down there, so make sure you're covered either w/chargers or batts. Also, glad to hear you found a juice you like - funny isn't it....flavors, you never know. Anyways, have a great trip & so glad you joined us here.......
