Hi! First post here.

Bough Starre yesterday. Burnt five coils already:) Two included with the tank, two from a 5-pack and two from another 5-pack. All were 0.5ohm except one 0.25. First Tried with MAX VG, then 50/50.

Whatever I do, these coils will not wick at all and I burn the cotton after the first few puffs. Coils were primed properly.

So, I took all the burnt coils apart and I noticed that all the coils had some weird metal inner wall that completely blocks two juice holes and partly blocks another two juice holes. Is it normal design for Starre coils, bad batch, or...? Thanks!

I attach pictures of the coils I took apart.

I install the coil in the base then use my vise and pliers. .... the base up against the edge of the vice and gently wiggle it side to side. Barrel pops off and then just re align and press it back on.

I have the same problem with my starr tank. Out of about 20 coils maybe 4 of them worked well. I bought a lemo 2, i dont use the starr anymore. Sad. Was a good tank when it worked.
Playboy coils work so much better, thats what I use..IJust2 coils will also work in Starre.

My first proper alien and he's an idiot.
