box mod kits

madvapes is out of stock on the box mod kits, does anyone know another supplyer that sells them? I'd like to get my feet wet mod building!

You can get all the parts for a basic boxmod at Radioshack, except the connector. The list of parts is right on the Madvapes boxmod page here 510 Box Mod Kit. You just need to drill the holes for the connector (11/32") and the switch (it depends on the switch what size). The LED and resistor are optional so I don't bother since I don't like blinky lights on my PV's anyway. Madvapes has instructions on their site for building them, or just look in the modders forum here on ECF.

I want to do one of Mad Vapes VV box mod kits. The Circuit board and electronic parts kit is only $7.99. Now I just need to decide on what kind of box I want to build it in. The 3AAA and 4 AAAA box look cheesy. I'll have to check out Radio Shack and some other shops to get inspired.

A friend and I ordered 4 of the 3.7 kits today. Just to get our feet wet and get comfortable with it. I want to learn how to mod because most of the really cool mods I've seen were "homemade".
