Hi!
So I have a simple question about box mods. I know just about everything about them but I feel a little stupid asking this. I'm planning to purchase the sigelei 150W in a couple of days. My question is, will my two batteries die quicker since they are working together? Or will they last longer? I have only played around with mechs and I just want to find this out. I usually vape at .14 ohms btw.
Thanks in advance!!

Batteries in Parallel for extended use and in Series for more power. Check the specs on the box mod you're interested in to find out how the batteries are wired.

Note: you may want to consider buying a brand new Pair and marry them to the mod if it's dual battery, especially if that mod is built with batteries in Series (Basically Stacked).

They will last longer in a regulated device either way.

2-3 times longer than a single battery running at higher power levels in my experience stacking 18350s for more than a year.

You will get more power and more vape time hands down. Heads and shoulders above a single battery mod.

Especially running in series. The mod now has 8v input instead of 4v! Plus double the mah. If your asking for 6v which senerio will be easier for the mod to work with.

You will not experience the massive voltage drop when a single battery gets down to 3.5v and your asking for 6.. Not gonna happen. With series/stacked batteries you have 7 volts input at this time, putting out 6 volts to the coil is no issue at all.

In the end it works out to awesome, I definitely recommend a new matched set of batteries to run together exclusively. Married together for safety and performance.

Hi opensec,

And in turn, it works out to the same as double the mah because you have two volts to run through instead of one. Plus higher input voltage to the chip in a regulated device; more efficient at bucking voltage.. Also with half the amp draw on each battery, equals even more added run time.

2 - 800mah batteries last more than twice as long as a single 2000mah battery in real world use, not theory.. These are real results that I see on a daily basis in a zmax v3. Sorry just sharing my real experience with stacked/series configuration.
