I run 2 VV Ali'i mods and they are pretty dam good, cant go wrong with these but all in all if I where you philkagi I would wait for the Eclipse eq which will be for sale over at Digitalciggz dot com soon, Some of us (me) and others have been waiting for this for some time now, it has everything you have asked for and even more, go check out the specs over at Digiyalciggz and let me know if it meets your criteria,I think it will and it is supposed to be coming in May price point is going to be around $300 but worth every penny, it even has a medical grade feed pump that pumps the juice for you ! VV, your USB charge, and a ton of other specs !! go check this baby out and tell me what you think. you will see the word Eclipse eq on the left side of the page in small letters, click on that and it will take you to the spec page.

mwa102464,

First off, thanks for taking the time to read the fine print of my posts.

Yah, I did want a mod now but was willing to wait because there were too many obvious features that I knew sooner or later someone would address; and the 'Eclipse' has done just that!!!

If I wasn't middle-aged I would be even more giddy than I already am.

Absolutely the Eclipse, hits it from all angles!! A few more bells and whistles than I would normally like, buy hey, I know I would probably end up appreciating them and ultimately have complete control over the thing.

How convenient to lower the voltage when your batteries are low, to know how low your batteries are, to only have to use one battery for low and high voltages, to know how well your attys are performing which tells you when to clean or change them.... 6 ml's of automatically fed fluid and of course my highly desired usb port which allows the battery to be charged without the use of a charger when one is not available. Hows that for convenience? Oh and the passthrough so I don't have to dig some other widget out of my e-bag of tricks.

In regard to the '1x AW 18650 (2C rating or better,' what's your guess on how long this battery will last?
I'm just curious as to the effect all the electronics and 5-6v vaping will have on an 18650 battery in a 24 hr. period.

Either way, I'm going to purchase this mod. Its what I've been looking for.

Thanks for pointing me in this direction.

late reply - sorry

i found it. its the 'ECLIPSE' has it all My searching is over.

with this mod the USB charges and is used as a passthrough and the batts last much longer than any other box mod i found that has a passthrough - also no changing batts for voltage changes, 6ml fluid bottle, automatic feeder, atty monitoring device and i can go on and on....

actually i wouldn't mind pushing a button to feed juice and don't need an electric gadget to tell me what voltage i'm vaping at or how my attys are working, but i won't complain. i can take the thing anywhere and go for a long time. i don't need a wall charger - only power or a computer to charge when i need to.

here's the link. and thanks.

sorry for the late response.

absolutely convenience is key. so when the technology exists for passthrough capabilities i'm willing to wait for one that offers long batt life with the ability to charge via passthrough. to me that means no wall charger is necessary and no extra batts are necessary.

you're right you can still have convenience without a usb but i'm picky and unwilling to buy when i know the technology for my specs is out there.

since your post i found what i was looking for. its the eclipse. below is the link and thanks again for responding.

The eclipse looks good but, I'm not as excited as some are. My only concern is durability. It won't do me a bit of good, if it breaks the first time I drop it. I drop things a lot and I tend to do it over concrete. That's also a lot gadgetry that can malfunction and it includes moving parts. The engineer in me is advisng caution. At least, at first.
