IPV3 at 150 watts or SMY 260 at 260 watts, I own both and each have their strong points and weak points but both do what I need them for and that's firing sub-ohm tanks at 20 to 30 watts.

In my personal experience, it's more a personal choice than one being better than the other. What are you wanting to do with it? What is your goal, getting maximum watts or long battery life or "mines bigger than yours"?

You can spend between $100 and $200 and get a good mod or drop several hundred and get something like a Variant which will go to 260 watts just like the SMY 260 (Even the clone is $169.00)

Why do I have big VW mods, well I have a big ego and like to have big toys to match. There's absolutely no reason what so ever for me to own anything over 50 watts however I now own 3 that do 100+ and not a single one of them has been over 40.

So it's a personal choice, each one will have just as many people praising it as being "the best on the market" as there are pointing out every single little flaw in them. I own an IPV3 that someone returned to the shop because it was "the biggest POS he had ever owned" and it's worked absolutely perfectly in my opinion since I walked out with it. The store got a credit from the supplier, I got a new (to me) mod, they made money, the customer got something different and we are all happy.

I didn't include that because I only have the 100W Plus model but if the quality of the 150 is the same then that's yet another over 100 box that will do what is asked of it.

The 150 is such a nice mod. I want one and i'd also never take it above 50 watts... well maybe 65 for some occasional juice that's nicer at higher temps. It's got the new flat fire button, door magnets, self adjusting 510 (i believe). And can be had for $95-$100. Not bad at all. However, word on the street is they're working on something new that could be big for their next box. I'll be waiting for "that".

Best? There is no best but I see it like this they are match up closely like for example Sig-150 and the IPV3 then there are the +150w SMY or God then you get your clones and the custom. It really depend on what you want also. I had this hard choice but I got myself the Sig-150 and I tell you what its a sweet mod and one day ill get a nice mode like the Sx-Zero lol .

I've been looking at the same mods. I went with the Sig 150w because it reportedly fires a little faster than the IPV3 - that delay always annoyed me on the MVP2.0. And the IPV still has that touch sensor on top even though that functionality is gone.. I couldn't get past that. Magnetic back plate on the Sig is a nice touch. Tattooed Vapor noted that the Sig's fire button can lock on if you pull the button down (or up) as you release it.. that's something to be aware of.
