BP Firing Issue

Pre-note: It's a brand new atty and I know it works, and I got my BP the day it was released with a 901 chrome top.

I've been having this strange issue lately. My BP's light will turn blue, but the atty won't fire. I can blow out the atty and wipe off the threads on both the atty and BP and it'll fire a few times, but once I put juice into my atty, it won't fire anymore. And at times I can screw the atty on bare, and it'll fire, but once I put my drip shield on, it stops firing. I'm not really sure what's going on. It's working right now, but it has been off and on and I'm curious if anyone knows what I can try to fix it?

Pull the center pin on the atty OUT some this should fix it , also some attys will short out if tightened to much too !

BUT the blue led will not light if it is shorted .

I tightened the screw on the top cap and it seems to be working okay now. If it happens again I'll try that though.

OK as long as it works ! a lot of times other devices will push the center pin on an atty in and then they will not make contact.

The BP is the only PV I use currently, so it wouldn't be a case of another one pushing it in. I'll have to buy a proper sized screwdriver for this though, all the ones I have are too big and are a mess to try and get the screw turned. What size do I need for the BP screw anyways?

SMall ?? #1 or # 2 I think ??? take it with you and try them out, the actual screw is a M2x.45 so 2mm size
