Hello!

Alright, so a few comments, then a few questions!

First of all, I've been interested in ecigarettes ever since I first heard about them a year or so ago. But I never spent the money, since they were so expensive (especially back then) and I had no way of knowing if it was even worthwhile. Or whether the company would stay in business. Etc.

However, I was in the mall the other day (I like in New York, USA), and I saw they opened a new stand that sells electric cigarettes! I immediately went over there to take a look at the thing in person, and it was great. The sales person let me try it, and I must say, I was very impressed with how it felt. I didn't have the money to get one then (it cost $150, and my bank account had $25), but I've become convinced that this will be the way for me to finally quit!

I ended up ordering an e-cigarette online, because I found an amazing deal I couldn't pass up. I do know, of course, that I'll be getting the cheapest of the cheapest ecigarette possible. But I figured that it would do until I'm able to save and get a better one. I can't even find a brand name attached to the ecig I bought. I attached a picture, so maybe someone here has some more information. But for $19.99, I couldn't pass it up.

So, my question is: How do I know what cartridges will be compatible with my new ecig? It would be great to just be able to go to the mall and get more cartridges, but they're completely different brands. And I don't even know the brand name of my new ecig, so I can't easily ask anyone.

Someday I'll get a nice ecig, but until then, I'd love to know what I bought myself! :)

Hi Life, welcome to the forum.

That's a Health ecig, they're sold at Dealextreme in various packaging and you might be able to find cartridges for it there.

Kate - You have such a blessing with all your info - I dont know if anyone has ever done this but I know I would be a vast help for all. (I don't have the experience/knowledge of the different models - or the money to research this - I'd do it but the wife has other priorities for our money like food and a mortgage payment.)
I was thinking maybe like you, Ledford, Tropical Bob, Mr. Darcey, and Rat in Da Hat could get together and create a list of all the manufacturers/suppliers products and list which are the same and also which have compatible (swappable) parts. Rat could post it on his site and Steve or Rat could Stickie it in the newbie section. I think it would be an invaluable resource.

Just an Idea.

Thanks Madog. I'm just lucky to be able to remember where to find relevant information sometimes.

A list could be handy. Maybe if you start one others could join in if they have any information.
How do I do that or do I just start a new post is there some sort of collaborative list on the forum?

Well, I would just start a thread and see how it goes. If it works then you could consider what to do with the useful bits from it. To be honest I don't think you need to try to get a group together (organising groups on forums can be a bit like herding cats ;)) it might be a lot of hassle for little result. You might get some gems of information too if it's open to all.
