compatibility between brands

Hi folks:

I've tried three different brands of e-cigs two of which were compatable with each other (i.e. same thread pattern - worked with each other's chargers and cartridges). I need to buy a new recharger (mine died over the weekend), but I'd like to get something that is compatable with the batteries that I have. And for that matter, I'd love to find an adapter so I could use the third brand I bought initially. So my question is: is there any way to figure out which brands are compatable with each other?

(Sorry if that was a confusing question - I don't think I stated it very well.)

The first one I bought was a GreenNicotine kit. I didn't really like the way they draw, but they weren't all that bad. I bought an accessory "charging case" (looks like a cigarette pack and recharges the battery) which I liked. The GreenNicotine batteries have a "male" thread and are not compatable with the other ones I have.

Second I bought a starter pack from SmokeFreeOnline. I like the kit, but my recharger is broken.

Finally I bought an nJoy individual pack at a local convenience store. It is compatable with the smokeFreeOnline batteries ("female" thread) and I am using the usb charger that came with it. But the charger doesn't work very well.

Well, from what I could find here the njoy is a 4081 and you might be able to find parts here-

E-Cig Super Store | Compare Prices On E Cig Starter Kits

The GreenNicotine I think is a KR808. I'm not sure if you find an adaptor or not. Sorry, I'm not much help. Hopefully someone will come along and know the answer.

The first one, the KR808 is pretty easy to find parts for. Someone mentioned on a thread that they were able to use the cartos from Vapor 4 Life on the GreenNicotine pv. The smokefree charger looks like it's pretty expensive, like $35. I'd definitely see if you can find a different charger for that one! Can you charge the smokefree with the njoy charger?

cartomizer or atomizer compatibility does not guarantee charger compatibility. Cartos and attys do not care about the electrical polarity of the battery. However some models DO have opposite polarity batetries and chargers that will MELT batteries of the other polarity.

Cases I know of Blu vs most 510 batteries, and FS510 versus ALL other 510s

In addition, some chargers are TOO STRONG and can damage a slim battery but have the same threading

Example: Ego or Riva charger vs slim 510 charger

So just be aware that if you put a battery into a same-threads charger cable that is not designed for it, it may work or it may melt the battery.

Thanks for the replies! I believe that I have a battery/charger incompatibility issue, because I'm not getting a proper charge on the batteries that did not come with the charger I'm using. (The cartomizers for the two different brands seem to be compatible though.)

I wish I had found this site earlier, because what I really want is probably a "mod." But I definately don't know enough to choose the right one yet. But luckily the local 7-11 store sells nJoy e-cigs, so I won't fall off the wagon while I'm doing more research.

I've read several of the "sticky" threads about mods and will have some more informed questions soon.
