brand new BOGE softcap 510 carto = burning plastic taste??

just got a box of five in the mail -- tried them out -- first one, loaded up with Max/Boro 30mg VG liquid from FSUSA -- MONSTER throat hit (I think I need to drop to 24mg)

loaded next one up with Wyatt Earp 30mg from FSUSA as a baseline test because I vape the hell out of it on my cartridges on a daily basis -- and I got a disgusting burning plastic smell -- I tried several times to see if it was just my imagination, but no way -- it was way too pronounced and way too plastic-ey... awful

loaded next one up with Peppermint WOW 0mg from Vapor4Life -- tastes amazing, zero throat hit (no nic)

loaded up next one with WOW Kamel 24mg from Vapor4Life -- BIGTIME throat hit (okay, maybe I need to drop to lower than 24mg if I'm using cartos)

loaded last one with Melon 16mg from liquidnicotine.com -- very little throat hit, but again -- the plastic taste -- identical to the Wyatt Earp plastic taste, but these two juices couldn't be more un-alike -- exact same acrid plastic taste like burning wires or something????

has this happened to anyone else?

man... is it possible I'm just tasting the juices better and there was always a plastic-ey taste that I wasn't noticing, because I just retried the Kamel and I taste a hint of it there too, where I didn't really before, then I went back to the Melon and Wyatt Earp and the plastic flavor didn't seem as pronounced

it's still very much there though

How do you fill them ? Maybe the juice just hadnt soaked in around the center wire very good and that's what caused the bad taste .

I drop in about 15-25 drops slowly letting it soak in (takes like 5 min with viscous juice and like 30 seconds with more watery juice (PG?)), and then spin it around in a lanyard, put in 4-10 more drops, spin it around again, put in 2-6 more, blow on it a little to make sure it isn't gurgling and fire it up

I can't say I get a 'plastic' taste with the e-juice. I get a burnt like taste with Wowboy, but that might just be the way it's supposed to taste. I refill with a syringe and man does it fill that baby up.
