I just received my brand new silver bullet, charged up some fresh aw imr 18650 batts and it seems the button on my bullet is not firing consistently. It fires, then it doesn't, then it's weak and then it doesn't and then it fires again as it should. What's the deal here? Is there a solution from you fine folks that won't require me to send it back for a fix?

thanks everyone!

Sorry to hear about your problems with the switch. I catch over 98% of the "Funky" switches when I test them. Best advise I can offer before I have you send it in to be rebuilt is to use some mechanical agitation. FIRMLY tap the switch on center several times with your finger. This will normally resolve a "Funky" switch. The contact plate in the switch is a floating contact that rides on a post. If the contact plate moves a bit to far it can cause a hang up and not allow it to make full contact with both legs of the switch. The agitation moves the plate around and will normally land back where it is supposed to be to make contact. When you get a weak hit it is making contact but not making full contact on one side of the leg. Give that a go and let me know if it solved the issue. If not, log onto your account at Altsmoke.com and submit a ticket.

Thanks, Chad. You do make an awesome product! There is no question that the build quality and rock solid-ness of the SB is above average.

Wiggling the switch seems to have done the trick. I have ordered a Kick and and 18490 AWIMR battery to try out that way. I'm thinking i'm liking the higher voltage better. I'm glad I can use a kick in there because it is a sweet PV, and it looks so great with a tank on it!

Thanks so much. I'm glad that worked out for me! I look forward to years with this device, and maybe additional ones because they're so good looking!
