You may have your wattage too high and your airflow too closed off. Too much vapor all at once can cause coughing for sure.
What coil are you using and at what resistance? (It, and the "recommended wattage" percentages are printed in tiny letters on the coil, usually. You should also prime your coil, which means fill it, let it sit, and then start drawing a few times with no wattage, then increase wattage in increments of about 3, and keep inhaling (even if there is no visible vapor, you are still pulling "juice" up into your coil so that it's wicked properly. You may be severely overpowering your coil. If you find a satisfactory vape "below' the "recommended wattage" that's not a problem. Going OVER the recommended wattage can shorten coil life and can often be a less pleasant vape.
I hope some of this helps, if all else fails, watch a few more videos, and keep reporting back as you are trying to "improve" your vape. My suggestions are kind of general since I don't have that device, but perhaps someone who does will be along with better suggestions, too.
Good luck!
