Welcome to ECF. Have you started vaping yet? What do you need help with? We're quite happy to help, but we sort of need an idea of what is going on.

However, welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your time here, and I'm pretty sure we may be able to "help" you if you are encountering some form of vaping difficulty. :)

You may have your wattage too high and your airflow too closed off. Too much vapor all at once can cause coughing for sure.

What coil are you using and at what resistance? (It, and the "recommended wattage" percentages are printed in tiny letters on the coil, usually. You should also prime your coil, which means fill it, let it sit, and then start drawing a few times with no wattage, then increase wattage in increments of about 3, and keep inhaling (even if there is no visible vapor, you are still pulling "juice" up into your coil so that it's wicked properly. You may be severely overpowering your coil. If you find a satisfactory vape "below' the "recommended wattage" that's not a problem. Going OVER the recommended wattage can shorten coil life and can often be a less pleasant vape.

I hope some of this helps, if all else fails, watch a few more videos, and keep reporting back as you are trying to "improve" your vape. My suggestions are kind of general since I don't have that device, but perhaps someone who does will be along with better suggestions, too.

Good luck!

What tank are you using? and what coils (ohm resistance) are you using? What power setting (wattage) are you using?

Try dropping the wattage setting being used. Tighten up the air control of the tank you're using.

Hi Linda,
The mod, (battery part) should work well for you as you begin to move away from cigarettes.

The tank, on the other hand, is IMO, completely unsuitable for an adult first time vaper attempting to stop smoking cigarettes. The majority of smok "kits" are aimed at DTL (direct to lung) vapers.

A device with a tighter draw and higher resistance coils is closer to a cigarette experience.
Consider the: Zenith Tank - Innokin
Or similar, innokinT20, Ego one MegaV2, Nautilus.
They are considered MTL (Mouth to Lung) devices/tanks.

Best of luck
I
