Hi,

I just got my Infinity Pro from Notcigs in the mail, and am I frickin' excited!!
I have to go to work soon, so I just popped two of the batteries in, and stuck a Boge SR cartomizer on which I had already been using. Plain and simple.

The red light on the inside is on, and it turns blue when I fire. So I figured everything looks great.
But there's no vapor. I don't hear the carto being heated.... there's nothing. :?:

I'm hoping there is a fix that I am just not thinking of. I'm still new to very new to vaping, and this is my first actual mod-style PV, so I could be doing something wrong.
Admittedly, I haven't tried any other cartos or atties and I haven't tried charging the batteries to full. I didn't think it was a big deal, as the lights were on and functioning.
And I have to go work soon!

I have no doubt that the issue will be resolved somehow, it's just a downer. It seems, however, to be consistent with my general luck these days.
But I digress!

I really can't wait to start vaping with the Infinity Pro! It's been all I've been able to think about since I ordered it.
SO PLEASE HELP!! :p

Thanks a million.

Possibly no contact. Try pouring three carto center contact out just a little else switch to another one.

There is production variability with cartos, sometimes you have to do the center post pry, some cartos you have to loosen slightly (if snugged too tight, center post shorts out).

I hope for your sake it's not broken because they told me buy the repair parts, send it back, & they'd have it returned in 2 days. I overnight shipped it so I'm out that $ also. No mod, 2 purchases for more than a ProVari would have cost, & no update. Then they curse at you when you ask for a refund. Then you ask them to fix it or at least update you on what's going on. I was told I'd be updated this morning on the status.

My hunch was they didn't have the parts, but the make mods when you order, so if you got yours they have the parts.

Just pray it doesn't break!!

The carto is good.... a bit old, but it's still working well. I have been using it on an 808 stick battery with an adaptor.

I have also tried the following:
-- fully charged the batteries
-- tried a different cartomizer
-- and tried a Joyetech HV atomizer

It seems as if the connection is not right. It is not recognizing whatever is connected to it.

Your comments on the customer service are quite alarming to me. Are you serious?!
NotCigs will not cover the return shipping, and I may have to buy something else?

Up until this point, I have only seen positive reviews of both the Buzz and the Infinity, so this is coming as quite the shock.
I really hope it works out for me. I still smoke cigarettes, as the stick battery limits my options and enjoyment. I put a lot of time and effort into finding the VV device that I thought would work best for me in all situations without breaking the bank. I picked the Infinity Pro over the Foxy VV Box Mod, the Varicool box mod, the LavaTube (serious contender), and a few others based on the quality, price and shining reviews. Admittedly, there are way more reviews for the Buzz Pro, but there are more all the time for the Infinity-- and I like the layout of the Infinity better. No difference, I thought. Same company, same product quality.

Like I said, I hope it works out. I'll just keep repeating that.... I hope it all works out.
I am in touch with their Tech Support, so things are in motion.

So.....
I hope it all works out! :p

Cheers.

I've been using notcigs, original Infinity and Buzz Pro, exclusively for a full year. Zero issues, absolutely rock solid customer service. Buzzkill bends over backwards to give the customer the benefit of the doubt on fixes, best I can see, and have experienced.

Stop by in the notcigs forum area on ECF, they are listed on the main ECF page in the ECF Suppliers area, else simply go to the notcigs site and try their technical support method or an RMA. I don't own the Infinity Pro, so can't talk you through debugging what you are describing. I'd try the noticgs forum area first, as one of the knowledgeable IP owners would likely help you pretty fast. If you have a voltmeter, you can check the voltage when you push the fire button -- put probes on the center of the top connector, and the outside edge of the connector and you should see 3.5 - 5.5V when the button is pushed. It helps to have a second person help do this check, one person holds the probes in place, the other pushes the button.

It does sound like an issue with your connector Potts. It's possible that there is a missing spacer that should be under the screw in your top cap. Come on over to Notcigs Sub Forum and make a post, we'll make sure you get fixed up :)

Big Larry forgot to mention that his repair got shipped back to him yesterday. Notcigs has been slammed with getting the new VVPV rolling out, and getting prepared for a trade show for his other business ;)
