Just got a new pro tank 2 opened it up put the coil in filled with juice let it wick for about 30 minutes hooked it up and I couldnt get a draw so I loosen it of the battery a little and got some air flow and it starts to draw and then it starts gurgling and spitting leaking everywhere, so i took it apart made sure the coil was tight and all the seals were not broke or messed up put it back together and the samething.....any ideas. Thanks Bill

hey motoman883 i have had some issues with my PT3s. are you using the short stem heads or the longer ones? i ask because i have had issues where the shorts do not line up right in the center tube and the base doesnt screw in exactly right. also check the wick between the stem if you see light you might want to take off the stem and add some more wick material either silica from say a ce4 or cotton from a 100% cotton ball.

Did you get juice in the center? This would cause gurgling, spitting, no firing. Is the coil twisted into the base or "finger tight", not super tight? Too tight and it may not fire or cause the tank to leak. If there is juice on the firing pin when you take the tank off, not good. Are you using high vg juice? If yes... may need to let it set longer than 30 mins. Are you using a twist/variable volt battery? again, depending on vg/pg ratio, the volts may impact the draw and functioning.
All this is based on my personal use of PT2's and issues I have encountered along the way :)

leaking everywhere? Something's very wrong.
Check that everything is connected - screwed in - finger tight.
The PT2 has a top/gasket/glass/gasket/bottom setup - and if that's all snug, the only other place for a leak is at the coil.
I never let it sit - I just take a couple "priming puffs" without power, and that's all it needs...and I use 50/50 juice.

I DO usually pull ONE strand of the wick OUT - so more juice can get to the coil to keep up with my vaping. I find there's usually TOO MUCH wicking in there. This isn't a fix for leaking - but once you find the leak it may help with performance.

Sounds like you have the settings correct on your Mego V, if you're sure that you didn't accidentally get juice down the center, which we've all done, it may be a defective tank. I've also heard of some people getting "clones" that aren't manufactured by Kanger, but you can check for that by going to the Kanger Tech website and entering the code on the side of the box it came in to verify that it's a real Kanger, or not. The AeroTank base I mentioned won't help with leaking, but it will help you get the right amount of air to your liking. Wishing you good luck, You're on the right forum with lots of very knowledgeable people here.
