Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Jumping into rebuildables when you don't have any experience with battery safety, Ohm's Law, amp draw, etc is not something I would recommend. Why are you interested in rebuilding? Rebuildables are not the only way to get more vapor given the new stock coils both Kangertech & Aspire have come out with.

I started dripping with the igo-L which is very inexpensive ($6 at Fasttech) and it was one of the easiest things I ever did. I agree some basic knowledge is very important and definitely a resistance checker ($10 at Fasttech) is needed. There are also so many drippers out there. The next easiest dripper I used was the Vision Eternity. Instead of say 10 drops of liquid, you would put 30-40 drops and it was wonderful. A lot of people love tanks but I was never very fond of them. I suppose that is why I ended up using a reo because it really is the ultimate dripper IMO. There are some really good threads on ecf about drippers and I wish you well. Have fun. Really not to difficult or I couldn't have done it.

Hey, friend! I'm new here also. Although I'm pretty inexperienced, thought I'd give you my two cents about my past few weeks of vaping. I'm using just some 'noob' devices, basic battery and basic tanks, and even then, there has been quite a learning curve. I would also like to get into rebuildables in the future, but feel that I need to learn A LOT more before I can do that. That being said, this forum has been amazing for me to learn from. Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful, and hopefully you can find the help you need to get to where you want to be in vaping!

I use CLEAROMIZER tanks. I tried dripping but I either was doing it right or something. I built a good coil but the vapor didn't taste very good. Gave it up

I tried it because of leaky tanks. But I didn't like it much. Changed the taste of vapors

I agree. It's not hard to wrap wire around something and keep tight. I didn't Ike dripping. But I did get enough knowledge make coils for Kanger tanks

Hi Friend,
I am new to vaping as well.... My suggestion is to start with something proven and test the water and move on..... If I am to start new now, I will get an iStick (Mod) and Aspire Nautilus Mini (Tank), replacement coils and few sample juices..... While you try out these go through these forum to learn the trade and move on.....

But I can tell you that there is never an end to upgrades and next best thing...:)

also about the Kangertech and Aspire, was this one of the ones you were referring too? h ttp://online.aspirecig.com/aspire-starter-kit-consisting-of-k1-glassomizer-and-gpower-900m-p-80.html

No, I was referring to the Aspire Atlantis tank and the KangerTech Subtank. Both require a variable v/w mod that is capable of running a 0.5 ohm coil.

When I first started I was using the standard low quality batteries and tanks like you can find at most of the little kiosk booths at your local mall. I was not real impressed and spent more time returning/trading out defective items than I did enjoying a good vape. I went to a local vape store to see what I needed to do or buy because I loved the idea of vaping, but it was more of a pain and disappointment than I have the patience for. Luckily, the shop owner spent the time to explain to me that I had been wasting money on what he called "disposable tanks" and let me try a pro tank mini on a vision spinner II battery. It was such an improvement that I bought the set up right then. A few months later I was looking for the same thing you seem to be looking for because flavor is the most important thing to me. I was not comfortable with upgrading to a mod and a rebuildable atty even though most of the information I found on line suggested that for flavor junkies. Plus, I just wanted to "fill and go" without having to drip every five minutes...I'm kind of a chain vaper, lol. Since the vision II spinner did wonders for the flavor production I started my search for mor vision products that were compatible with that battery. I purchased a vision ET eternity automizer for $15 online. I was blown away by the flavor production and if I didn't have the habit of putting my e-cig in my back pocket, which resulted in my breaking two of the eternitys, I probably would have never searched for anything else. I blamed them breaking on poor construction (because nothing is my fault, lol) and just could not get the same flavor out of any variable voltage battery/tank combo. That's when I started getting into mods. I could have just made this answer a shorter I guess and just suggested getting a battery with a minimum of 1200MaH and put a vision ET eternity atomizer on it. It was a great "stepping stone" for me and it comes with replaceable cartridges that you can fill with your own juice and carry with you instead of having to refill on the go.

While I didn't spend the kiosk time, I did make a few mistakes at first. After discovering a great online store, I ended up with 2 Vision Spinner (the original ones with the tick marks), a Protank 2, and a Protank 2 mini.

My hardest part was finding a juice that I liked. I actually ordered it with one of my mistake purchases and didn't use it until dead last. After I vaped it, I quit smoking immediately. I smoked for 24 years (starting at 15 - giving my age away). Now I've been analog free for 1 1/2 years. I also mix my own juice now, and have upgraded to a P3, Kayfun Light +, etc.

Funny how similar our stories are victory71!
