Brand new VAMO won't fire.

I bought a VAMO about 6 weeks ago. Was working fine when all of a sudden it stopped firing. I put a freshly charged battery in it and it turns on. The screen shows the voltage and resistance and the + - buttons work to adjust the voltage up or down. But as soon as I hit the fire button the mod dies and won't turn on again unless I put in another battery or re-install the same one. Different batteries and different atty's, carts or clearo's all the same, as soon as I hit that fire button the unit dies.

I would appreciate any hints or suggestions as the vendors warranty has expired.

Same issue happened with my vmax. The reason was due to leaked liquid getting through the 510 connection and into the circut board inside causing a short.

So that's what happened to my Vmax. Mine blinks 3 times and shuts down.

Well I managed to get the top off but I didn't see anything wrong. When I put it back on I tried it and now it fires. I have no idea how it fixed itself but I'm not complaining. Thanks for the info though folks.
