When I first started I bought juice in a few different levels, some 6mg, 12 and 18. I'm very glad I did since many people find they vape much more than they smoked, especially at first and getting nic sick (happened once) was awful! I smoked about 1.5 pad for 27 yrs and quit as soon as my battery was charged. Good luck!!

chain vaping, especially at first, is pretty common from what i have seen-
i actually vape more than when i started, but i know for a fact i was getting nic head aches from vaping too much at first-
the thing is, for me, if i treated it like a cig, and only went outside for a few puffs, it wasn't working for me-
if i picked it up now and then and had the occasional puff now and then, or several puffs then it worked-
i think part of the process is realizing that vaping isn't smoking, even though we are trying to mimic it

Hello All, I'm brand new on here... Any suggestions???

Which system did you get? Once we know that, then maybe we can assist ya and/or warn ya of da 'bumps in da road'.

I'm noticing that I'm chain vapeing to get through the carvings. Is this normal, or should I step up the mg?

I vape much more than I ever smoked. Ya might want to try some 24mg and see if that helps ya vape less.

I'm 8 days in and have reduced the analogs from 30-35 to 4-6. I'm noticing that I'm chain vapeing to get through the carvings. Is this normal, or should I step up the mg?

I was a Marlboro Lights smoker and started off with 18mg.

When I first started I likened it to being a crack addict. I also started with 36mg but I smoked marlboro 100's. you might try a higher level if it makes you more comfortable
Yeah.......it's normal. Don't be concerned :p
Take care Richard

I had to fight through cravings the first few weeks. Nicotine is not the only thing you're addicted to and your body will go through withdrawl of all the other stuff that are in cigs. Quitting, even with ecigs, is not without struggle...but you just have to have a bit of willpower. Dry mouth and sore throat and possibly cold like symptoms are all normal and have nothing to do with vaping (except dry mouth), this is your body's reaction to quitting cigs. Tar has coated your throat and all that stuff is going to shed and leave you a bit sore, mouths gargles and cough drops helped me a lot!

I vape more than I ever smoked (12mg), but if I can't chain-vape I use 24mg juice. 18mg sounds a little low to me for someone fresh off analogs.
