Trying to figure out how to strip the chrome plating off of my vamo right now...besides a acid bath..

Thanks zippersnapper, mine isn't all that polished, but for that vamo I'd suggest 600>1500>2000 grit sandpaper, most of the parts you could turn with a drill, but the electronic section I would do by hand. You gotta post in here when you get it done as I think a brass vamo has got some real potential (like making me even want one).
