brass will turn skin green because it is a chemical reaction that is occurring as it tarnishes.
You can coat it with clear nail polish r something similar, but barring that, if you like the tarnished look, I think you will have to deal with green hands.
i think it would be cool to wear black latex gloves all day lol jk. or you could find someone to make you a clear wrap. like the 3m clear bra that they put on cars. that would work. you could see the chi in all its beauty and not get green hands
Get a tube of metal polish. Rub it on with a cloth, then rub it off with another cloth. Just keep polishing until all the tarnish has gone. It will tarnish again though. But not for some time. Metal polish isn't expensive. Get it from a hardware store. Works on any metal that tarnishes.

The problem with that is I think he wants to retain the matte look of the brass, in which it sounds like he spent some time on. I don't blame him, you don't see matte brass mods pop up very often.
I think the idea I gave with the matte vinyl would probably be your best bet. It's not going to do any permanent damage to the mod and you can take it off fairly easily. Plus that stuff lasts what, 7 years or something like that? It'll most likely outlast your pretty little piece you've got there lol
Very good looking unit.
Being in janitorial have encountered lots of property owners unhappy with this aspect of brass.
Never came across a good answer that didn't involve covering or coating it which also changes the appearance unfortunately.
Maybe Camaroboi13 knows of a wrap that has the same look?
