brass rm2... come apart different?

Does the brass RM2 come apart differently than the regular RM2? Just got one... can't open it.

Not that i know - i thought it was identical, just lacking the chrome top layer.

The brass can be sticky, but they are the same. Soft jawed or lined pliers will get them open, then, lube the threads with a little juice before re assembling. Do your wrestling off the mod so you don't bugger your 510 connection.

If you cant get it open let me no I will send out another atty with a return shipping label . A piece of fine sand paper will work in a pinch and it wont leave any marks

Thanks. I'm good now. - Knowing that it comes apart the same way increased my bravery with my leatherman and a strip of butcher paper. I got it apart and the finish did not suffer.
