I got this brass tug boat rda and I take maybe 5-7 pulls on this thing and it already burns my lips! Anyone else experience this? This thing is dangerous!

1) What coil build are you using?
2) What is the coil resistance?
3) Drip tip type?

I'm putting out 32 watts on an ivp v2 .6 ohms an a 18650 efest battery. I have another atomizer, a helio and it doesent get nearly this hot what so ever. I want to use my tug boat but it just gets too hot! D:
Dual coils (6 wraps each on a precision screw driver) .6 resistance 28 g kanthal and stock drip tip
I've heard of this happening with the Tugboat. Pick up a delrin drip tip.
I suspect that it is the drip tip material that is the issue as you don't mention the vape being like lava. As mentioned above get a delrin or glass drip tip for cooler lips,a longer tip will also make a difference. I own a coloured tug boat and it comes with a matching drip tip that is delrin all the way through the core. i sub ohm at 0.2 without any heat on the drip tip. The tugboat is a beast though, i'm not surprised that it's heating up. For now you could take shorter draws and leave it longer in-between each one.
If a RDA gets Scorching Hot after 6 or 7 Hits, doesn't that sound like a Sign of a Problem? Like a Short in the RDA?
And if there is a Short, Isn't the Battery going to Fail Sooner or Later? Probably Sooner.

BTW - Is this a Genuine Tug Boat or a Clone?
ETA: And is this a V1 or V2 Design? I'm told that the V@ Design has More Air Holes for Better Air Flow.

This could very well be a simple problem of not enough air flow... more air coming in will help to keep things cooler more than anything else...

Yes tere was a short because it would drain my battery faster than all hell and I just rebuilt the coils and it's not getting as hot now at a .8 ohm build its tooting wonderful thank you everyone!
