Dimitris is right about PMI. They're a huge company whose duty is to continue making huge amounts of money for their shareholders. They're not going to stop selling cigarettes until they can replace that lost income through the sale of other products. They will do that anyway they can including eliminating their competition and destroying the independent vaping industry.

Having said that, PMI is not evil or the vaping industry's savior. They're just trying to continue making a profit. That's how capitalism works.
