is anyone else watching this? the wife and i just started watching last week when the first 3 seasons went up on netflix instant. were almost done with season 2. its almost disgusting how bleeping good this show is.

i have to give kudos to the writers for the walt jr character. its incredibly refreshing to see a character who is handicapped and not a handicapped character. theres a distinction there. most times in tv shows characters with disabilities are either an object of pity or portrayed as being morally superior to everyone else. walt jr is just a normal kid and it honestly opened my eyes to the fact that disabled people aren't different than anyone else. i was honestly ignorant and the show helped me see a reality i don't see very often.

the whole show is just awesome and totally compelling. its a shame that the 5th season will be the last but its nice to know that the writers have a definite plan instead of drifting aimlessly.

I just got Netflix and people have been raving about this. Guess it must be damn good?

very much so.

its basically about a chemistry teacher diagnosed with terminal cancer who decides to cook/sell .... in order to make sure his family is taken care of financially after he dies.

it sounds like an odd premise and theres a lot more to it but what it boils down to is a normal man doing things he never dreamed of for his family and watching him completely evolve as a character. it asks the question of me personally, how far would i go?

its incredibly well written, the characters truly feel alive, its intense as all get out and its simply a very addictive show. the 1st episode or 2 is a tad slow but it ramps up VERY quickly. its one of those shows where you look at the clock and think "ok, just oooonnnee more episode before i go to bed".

My husband and I just started watching Breaking Bad a few months ago. We marathoned the first 3 seasons so we were all caught up before season 4 started. OMG SO GOOD. This show is amazing. It's been agony watching the current season live and having to wait a week in between episodes!

By the way, xg4bx, I see you've got a pic of Karen Gillan as your avatar. Doctor Who is another of my favorite shows!
