While having only my second cold during my 2.5 years of vaping, I decided to get caught up on the first 2 seasons of Netflix's House of Cards.
Do wish to note that my cold is still going on, but early on did seem to be staved off by my vaping. Then got to a point where I knew vaping was helping and so I took 2 days off (zero puffs) and didn't miss it. Also keep in mind that I am a dual user and haven't smoked in about 5 days now. One might think I'd just stop smoking, but with that same mindset, I'd just assume stop vaping as well. As I enjoy both, I look forward to my next smoke, and have been vaping a tad today which is first day I really started to feel better.
Anyway, I noticed 2 episodes for sure where House of Cards had its main character (Frank Underwood, US Congressperson) vaping. And one of those times I know his wife referenced it as "cheating" on his apparent promise to quit smoking, while Frank said something like it isn't cheating.
I'm thinking someone else on ECF has already brought up this show alluding to vaping. Part of the reason I started this thread though is cause I could see the third season doing some sort of bill by Frank Underwood that is anti-eCig legislation passed by Congress, and/or just a reference to the FDA (final) rule. I'm sure it would be mentioned in passing and not really central to the plot, and mostly just used to further exploit the hypocrisy angle of its main character, and anti-hero Congressman Underhood.
Who just happens to be a Democrat.
