Breaking in 6V atomizers at 3.7V

Ordered some HV6 atties for use in my P+18. Wondering how well they they break-in at high voltage. Does it make sense to try to break them in at 3.7V and then switch over to 6.4V. As a side note, anyone know how long HV6s will last at 6.4 volts.

Start low with a few puffs. Then work your way up to the desired level.
