I don't speak Spanish, not in any meaningful way.
I do perfectly understand Spanish without problems and speak a sort of gibberish that can be understood by Spanish people (all Portuguese people can).
I also (try to) speak French :p

PS: We have to learn 2 foreign languages in school over here.
English is now taught since pre-school btw. It's a bit weird: my kids have English lessons before they study Portuguese :)

Yeah. That is just weird. I love the English language but I really do wish that we stressed learning other languages more here. I think it is beneficial from a mind expanding perspective if nothing else. It also prevent cultural isolation at least to some degree.

I learned and became fluent in Spanish back in junior high school and throughout high school but after graduation I had no one to speak with so I forgot it.
