Hi everybody,
Been lurking around off and on for a couple of years. I was active when I first started vaping, but had gotten frustrated with the ecig i had, was a egoT type a or b, not sure which. It started out good, I fell in love with it, than after leaking problems and atomizer issues I gave up for awhile. Well, I upgraded to an ego c, got some clearomizers yesterday, and Im absolutely loving it, which gives me more hope. Problem Im having is the ritual of lighting a cigarette and putting it out. I know that probably sounds funny, but when i vape, I don't know when to stop, I still got cigarettes, but gonna see how this pv does for me and if I can keep it going, I think I can do this. Also, the fda concerns me, but thats another thread. Wish I had the money to stock for a couple of years. Im gonna see if i can at least build a supply for one year.

Anyway, I think there is hope there somewhere. Congratulations on y'alls successes, will be keeping an eye on the forum more.

It takes a while to change old habits. Please don't get discouraged. I smoked analogs, 2.5 to 3 packs per day, for over 20 years. It took about 2 months for me to totally give up the cancer sticks and vape only. I haven't had an analog in 4 years and don't want one. It takes some time to develop the "new" habits that are used in vaping. Cut yourself a little slack. Having back-up battys & attys helps too. At first I smoked analogs while the batt charged because I only had 1 battery.

first week one of my friends came over. she put a lit cig in my ashtray. without even thinking picked it up, and put it in my mouth. that was when i said to myself- what the hell are you doing? total junkie maneuver right there. pathetic is a better word. did not take a puff. though. that's when i realized something strange was going on, because i really didn't want it. at work - instead of fumbling for lighter and cigs?, now I'm fumbling for my pocket girlfriend. it's like an episode of the twilight zone. and even though we are second class citizens, i still like going outside with my friends during break. they puff away on theirs, and i puff away on mine. easy money, no urges to do stupid things. and they all see me not smoking. we all get off on other peoples failures at work, so my co workers are looking at me thinking, it's just a matter of time. when used properly, even negative energy can be a weapon, and a awesome motivator.

The equipment available today is MUCH better than when I started. You may spend a bit of money finding out which e-cig/liquids works best for you but it will still be less than smoking especially if you add in potential medical costs. Reliable equipment is a must!
back-ups for your back-ups. gear is everything.
