Brick and Mortar e-cig store?

so, is there such an animal?

Here in B'more, i've seen some of the crappier e-cigs at gas stations. Is there an actual store in my area (or anywhere for that matter) that i can actually go to and try out different styles (i.e. not crappy ones) or purchase e-liquid?
or is the market too new, or the internet too saturated?

i would think, given the popularity of e-cigs and the sheer volume of people trying to quit, these would be popping up all over - not just carts in the mall.

in my area i can see this being especially popular now that a pack of newports is over $6.

Hoosier, not that much, at least until i decide for sure it is for me! I recently ordered a riva 510 and would have loved to be able to try it out before committing $$ to it.

an hour or three maybe. Mid Atlantic area preferably. i would go as far as NYC (5ish hours) if I had to.

and i must know WHY??? legal issues i assume??

can you please point me to some threads that would explain why there are so few of these?

Thanks

Sure, check out the News and Campaigning sections to find out how the US government wants to protect us from PV's. State and locals too. Plus advocate groups are pushing for bans to protect our lungs from these nasty PV's and get us to stick with the approved cigs.

Build a better mouse trap and there will be a flood of lawyers and charity groups beating down your door to stop your madness. For the children and your own good, of course.

Hoosier, i figured it was the nanny state reasoning. If you can get around that, i suppose one could be successful with a shop. Of course with MD being a tobacco growing state, that may be a little tricky...

lilavati & Crumpet, Richmond is a little more like it. maybe three hours.

perhaps a road trip is in order!
