Okay so last week I saw a few posts on de-bridging, watched a few videos and thought WOW I've gotta try this when my atty is more than a week old. Well the thoughts of de-bridging danced in my head non-stop and finally the next day I did it! I just had to see what was up.

Currently I have: 1 de-bridged/de-wicked atty, 1 de-wicked atty, and 1 standard untouched atty. So that I can drip when I want, or run a cart when I want. If you only have 1 atty I would suggest waiting until you have a backup. I have debridged quite a few of them, and have not harmed 1 in the process, but not everyone is as lucky.

Before watching this video I want to post a few notes.

1. de-bridging is only recommended for DRIPPERS only. Once you remove your bridge you can no longer use a cartridge, as there is nothing to get the juice from the cart to the coil, thus will fry ur atty.

2. de-wicking will allow you to both drip AND use carts. So if you do both, this is prob best for you.

3. It is said that 5V and 6V mods run juice hotter, and unless you like hot vape, it's not suggested for vapers running above 3.7V again unless you don't mind a hotter vapor.

4. When doing this, you are doing it on your own free will. You cannot hold anyone who does this correctly as liability to you ruining your own atty. Again I have never screwed up any atties that I've de-wicked or de-bridged.

5. I suggest cleaning a USED atty before doing this as it's harder to pull the mesh out when it has corroded e-juice on it.

Things I have noticed with debridging:
Better vapor, tons more flavor... a drippers DREAM! You only need to add 3-5 drops after you've cleaned a bridge-less atty and 2-3 drops when dripping. With my 510 2 drops when low works GREAT. I have had NO leaking and it seems as tho my coil is happier not to mention the flavors of your juices REALLY POP! You can see right down into the lil resevoir to see if you are flooding it, which is also another plus. Aaaaand... you can see your coil directly if you are someone who does a dry burn to clean your atty.

Enjoy!

Any questions just ask!

LOL @ all of you vape fiends! Totally awesome to see people trying this out!! rock on!

Some people complain of leaking. but I personally haven't had this issue with standard or LR atties. Then again they could just be over juicing it.

Note: When that lil white ceramic tub/reservoir is full, it means ur good to go :)

What I've noticed also the juice seems to vape longer and causes me to drip less. I can on a norm atty with a wick and bridge go thru easily 5mL of liquid in a day... and I do mean EASILY.

Since I've been rockin bridgless I had a hardtime going thru 3mL.

Also, anyone who wants to check out the SWEEEEETEST drip tip I have ever used, try the NHaler twisted. Super awesome vape! perfect amount of airflow and great mouth pc design. And I'm comparing this to the 6 different drip tips I own. From delrin plastic and metal, to carto to drip tip mod, pen grip mod, etc, etc... absolutely AMAZING. I'll be doing a video on that soon as well. So check out my Youtube Channel. tons of great reviews, tricks, tips, and mods.

Hey. Guys. I have tried it am not sure if I prefer it. Seemed to me like I had to juice more often than with a bridge. I don't know if I could say I was dripping less. ANy comments ?

Also, you mentioned filling the little ceramic resevoir. Isnt there a hole in it for air and the wires ? Wouldn't the juice just run out ?

Comments welcome.

It does make a huge difference, however, I find myself needing to drip more often which is pretty annoying. I'm thinking about putting some blue foam on top to "sponge up" extra liquid. Call it a modified carto. Anyone think that is a bad idea?

for me i don't have that problem. i drip the same 3 drops, which bridgeless for me seems to last a lot longer, about 8 hits vs my old 5 and drip again. and i put 5 drops in my LR bridgless and it lasts about 15 good hits sometimes more.

putting foam on ur atty or above ur atty? sure is gonna get hot and maybe melt down over the guts inside. but if it works, lemme know! i'm all for trying new stuff that works.

i use 50/50 and 75VG/25PG have had no issues using MORE. it's actually saved me about 3mL a day since going bridgleess.

there's a hole on each side actually, and no unless ur using some super thinned out juice, you shouldn't have any losing of liquid. sometimes it does run down into the lower resevoir underneath, but no unless you're putting like 5 drops in a standard atty or like 7-8 drops in an LR. you shouldn't have any issues of it "running out" or leaking unless your juice is super super thin. I've used 100% PG and some really high quality VG (which is as thin as 100%PG) and have had no out of the norm excess... def no leaking tho.

are you over filling? also make sure ur dripping right into that lil white area... not the mesh. :)

It seems like one of the manufacturers would have come up with a bridge-less atomizer by now with so many people pulling theirs apart. Drip only atomizers that come with the coil already exposed.

They have. sorta. I use the new CE2 rev4 cartomizer and pull off the tip and fill ring. You get an exposed coil like in a bridgeless atty, and the bonus of holding 6-9 drops! AND at about $9 for 5, it's the only way I go now. Absolutely easy to clean/dry burn. The vapor/flavor gives my LR attys a run for their money. A drip tip pops right on for easy dripping.

WHOA!

Just saw this an hour ago or so, looked into it more, and went ahead and debridged an atty I have dedicated to a kretek flavor. And I'm pretty much speechless. I always drip and this makes such a huge difference it seems like. I'm getting more vapor and more flavor so far, plus this will make cleaning much easier, being able to see what the coil actually looks like.

Thanks a ton for this! So much love.
