Okay I know this is going the opposite way than most people but I like vaping at 3.7 volts. My question is that it is easy enough to make a simple 5 volt passthrough, is there a simple way to bring the voltage down to 3.7?
You could put a small resistor in between the switch and the atomizer connector, yes. You're probably looking at something around 0.5 ohm or close to it.
A standard diode drops .7V. Two of them in series.. 1.4V. That will put you right at 3.6V. Just make sure you select diodes that can handle the current. For most attys, that would be 2A.
yeah 1n400x where x is the last number..there's about 20million varieties lol. Radio shack used to have some big 50amp silicon rectifiers, but might be a little large to go in (it'd be close) just be sure to get your polarity right and you're good to go. Wont create the heat a resistor will either
